Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the Nitecore EDC31. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the flashlight's charging port and to a USB power source. The power indicator lights will show charging status.

Rapid Lock™ Mechanism

The EDC31 features a sliding lock switch to prevent accidental activation.

• Full Lockout Mode: Slide the Rapid Lock™ to the locked position to completely prevent activation.
• Half Lockout Mode: Allows access to certain functions while preventing others.
• Unlock: Slide the Rapid Lock™ to the unlocked position for full functionality.

Brightness Levels and Modes

The EDC31 offers multiple brightness levels and specialized modes:

• LUMIN SHIELD™ (Floodlight): 3,500 Lumens. Activated by a full press and hold of the Tactical Tail Button. (Unavailable in Full Lockout Mode).

Power Level Display

The flashlight features four green indicator lights to display the remaining battery power:

Maintenance

Cleaning
