Setup

1. SIM Card and TF Card Installation

The UMIDIGI Note 100 5G supports dual SIM cards or one SIM card and one TF (microSD) card for expandable storage.

  1. Locate the SIM tray on the side of the device.
  2. Insert the SIM tray ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and press firmly until the tray pops out.
  3. Carefully pull out the SIM tray.
  4. Place your Nano SIM card(s) and/or TF card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts are facing down and the cards are correctly oriented as shown on the tray.
  5. Gently push the tray back into the slot until it is flush with the device.

2. Initial Power On and Setup Wizard

  1. Press and hold the Power Button until the UMIDIGI logo appears.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup:
    • Select your language.
    • Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
    • Accept terms and conditions.
    • Sign in to your Google account or create a new one.
    • Set up screen lock (PIN, pattern, password, fingerprint, or face unlock).

3. Memory Expansion (RAM)

The UMIDIGI Note 100 5G supports virtual RAM expansion to enhance performance.

  1. Enter the phone's "Settings" application.
  2. Find and select "Memory Expansion".
  3. Click "Set RAM extend Size".
  4. Select the desired RAM expansion option (e.g., 2GB, 4GB, 6GB).
  5. Confirm the selection. The phone will prompt you to "Reboot" to apply the changes.
  6. Select "Reboot" and the phone will restart. The new memory setting will be active upon restart.
