2. Important Safety Information

5. Setup
5.1 Initial Charging
Before the first use, fully charge the OUCAXIA Y50S Robotic Pool Cleaner. The charging time is approximately 4 hours for a full charge, providing up to 130 minutes of working time.
- Ensure the charging port on the cleaner is dry and free of debris.
- Connect the charger to the charging port on the cleaner.
- Plug the charger into a power outlet. The indicator lights on the cleaner will show the charging status.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger and securely close the charging port cover.

5.2 First Use
After charging, the cleaner is ready for deployment in your pool.
- Ensure the pool cleaner is fully charged and the charging port cover is securely closed.
- Select the desired cleaning mode using the dial on the top of the cleaner (e.g., Floor, Wall, Waterline, All-cover).
- Gently lower the cleaner into the pool. Ensure it is fully submerged before it begins operation.
- The cleaner will automatically begin its cleaning cycle based on the selected mode.

6.3 Automatic Parking and Retrieval
When the cleaning cycle is complete or the battery is low, the Y50S will automatically park itself near the pool edge for easy retrieval. The quick water release feature ensures convenient handling.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Filter Basket
Regular cleaning of the filter basket is crucial for maintaining optimal cleaning performance.
- After each cleaning cycle, remove the pool cleaner from the water.
- Open the top cover of the cleaner to access the 4L large capacity filter basket.
- Remove the filter basket by lifting its handle.
- Empty any collected debris from the basket.
- Rinse the filter basket thoroughly with a garden hose until it is clean.
- Reinsert the clean filter basket into the cleaner and close the top cover securely.

7.2 Storage
When not in use for an extended period, store the pool cleaner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is fully charged before storage to prolong its lifespan.
