Setup
Installation

- Insert the back clip into the edge of the helmet.
- Insert the Q4 model onto the clip slot and ensure it is installed securely.
- Use the Velcro part to stick the earphone and boom/soft mic inside your helmet.
- Insert the Speakers and Microphone plug into the Q4 model.
The SKYVENT Q4 is designed for adaptability, featuring adjustable mounts and interchangeable microphones to fit different helmet styles. It is easy to install and remove from the helmet.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
To power on, press and hold the power button until the indicator light illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button until the light turns off.
Bluetooth Pairing (Device to Device)

- Power on both Q4 devices by pressing the power button.
- To restore default settings (recommended before pairing), press the minus (-) and plus (+) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds on each device until the light turns red.
- On the first device, press the power button and the minus (-) button simultaneously for 1 second. The blue and red lights will flash alternately.
- On the second device, press the power button and the plus (+) button simultaneously for 1 second. The blue and red lights will flash alternately.
- Once successfully paired, the first device's light will turn blue, and the second device's light will turn red, indicating a connected status.
Bluetooth Pairing (to Phone/GPS)
The Q4 headset is equipped with Bluetooth 5.1, allowing connection to your smartphone or GPS device. Refer to your device's Bluetooth settings to find and connect to "SKYVENT Q4".
Group Communication (Intercom)

The Q4 supports group communication for up to 6 riders with a maximum communication distance of 1500m. Once devices are paired, communication is initiated automatically or by pressing the intercom button (refer to specific button functions in the full manual).
Music Sharing & FM Radio

Maintenance
- Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain IP65 waterproof rating.
- Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to prolong its lifespan.
Troubleshooting
No Power
Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect to a power source using the provided USB cable.
Cannot Pair Devices
Perform a factory reset on both devices (press minus (-) and plus (+) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds). Ensure both devices are in pairing mode as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing (Device to Device)" section.
Poor Audio Quality / Noise
Check microphone and speaker placement inside the helmet. Ensure they are not obstructed. Verify that the noise cancellation feature is active.
Intermittent Connection
Ensure devices are within the specified 1500m range and there are no significant physical obstructions (e.g., large buildings, dense terrain) between them.
