4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Mounting the Screen
The Jansite Car Play Screen offers two primary mounting options: dashboard mount and windshield mount. Choose the option that best suits your vehicle and provides an optimal viewing angle without obstructing your driving view.
- Dashboard Mount:
- Select a flat, clean area on your dashboard.
- Clean the dashboard surface thoroughly.
- Remove the protective film from the adhesive bracket.
- Firmly press the bracket onto the dashboard for several seconds.
- Snap the display unit onto the mounted stand.
- Windshield Mount (Suction Cup Bracket):
- Clean the desired area on your windshield.
- Remove the protective film from the suction cup.
- Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield and engage the locking lever to secure it.
- Install the display unit onto the bracket.
- Adjust the angle for optimal viewing and tighten the screw to lock the position.

4.2 Power Connection
Connect the provided car charger to the screen and plug it into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket (12-24V). The screen will power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
The device powers on automatically when connected to a power source and the vehicle's ignition is active. To power off, disconnect the car charger or turn off the vehicle's ignition.
5.2 Wireless Apple CarPlay Connection
For iPhone users, connect to Apple CarPlay wirelessly:
- On the screen, select the 'CarPlay' option.
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Find the screen's Bluetooth name (e.g., "T86B-XXX") and connect.
- Wait for approximately 10 seconds and select 'Pair' on your iPhone when prompted.
- The CarPlay interface will appear on the screen. Click 'Use CarPlay' to confirm.
Note: After the initial successful connection, your iPhone will automatically reconnect to CarPlay when you start your car. Bluetooth will automatically disconnect from the screen once CarPlay is established.

5.3 Wireless Android Auto Connection
For Android phone users, connect to Android Auto wirelessly:
- On the screen, select the '[Android Auto]' option.
- On your Android phone, go to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings.
- Find the screen's Bluetooth name (e.g., "T86B-XXX") and connect.
- Wait for approximately 10 seconds and select 'Pair' on your Android phone when prompted.
- The Android Auto interface will appear on the screen. Click 'Use Carplay' (or 'Use Android Auto') to confirm.
Note: Some Android phone models (e.g., Huawei, Galaxy A20, Reno 2) may not be fully supported for wireless Android Auto.

5.4 Mirror Link (Airplay / Super Link)
The screen supports mirroring your phone's display for video playback and other content.
- Airplay (for iOS 10+):
- Open the Airplay function on the screen.
- On your iPhone, turn on Wi-Fi, find the screen's Wi-Fi name, and connect.
- After successful connection, enter the iPhone's screen mirroring function and select 'SmartScreen' to complete the mirroring.
- Super Link (for Android and iPhone):
- Open the Miracast function on the screen.
- Download and install the 'EVLink' app on your phone.
- Turn on Wi-Fi on your phone, find the screen's Wi-Fi name, and connect.
- After successful connection, enter your phone's screen mirroring function and select 'SmartScreen' to complete the mirroring.
Note: With Super Link, you can keep your phone's screen locked while watching videos, and Android phones can be operated directly from the screen. iPhone control is limited to the phone itself.

5.5 Voice Control (Siri / Google Assistant)
Utilize voice commands for hands-free operation through Siri (for Apple CarPlay) or Google Assistant (for Android Auto).
- Activate voice control by saying "Hey Siri" or "Hi Google" or by tapping the voice assistant icon on the screen.
- Examples of commands: "Navigate to [destination]", "Call [contact name]", "Play [song/artist]", "Send a message to [contact name]".

5.6 Audio Output Options
The screen offers multiple ways to transmit audio to your car's sound system:
- Built-in Speaker: The screen has its own integrated speakers for direct audio output.
- Bluetooth: Connect your phone to the screen via Bluetooth, and the screen can then transmit audio to your car's Bluetooth-enabled stereo system.
- AUX Connection: Use the provided AUX cable to connect the screen's AUX output to your car's AUX input for a wired audio connection.
- FM Transmitter: If your car does not have Bluetooth or AUX input, you can use the screen's FM transmitter. Select an unused FM frequency on the screen and tune your car radio to the same frequency.

5.7 Custom Boot Logo
The device supports customizing the startup logo. Refer to the manual's support section or contact customer service for instructions on how to upload a custom boot logo via the EVLink app.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or high humidity.
- Cable Management: Ensure all cables are securely routed and not interfering with vehicle controls or driver visibility.
7. Troubleshooting
- Screen Not Powering On: Check the car charger connection to the screen and the cigarette lighter socket. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on.
- No Audio Output: Verify the selected audio output mode (Built-in Speaker, Bluetooth, AUX, FM). If using FM, ensure the screen and car radio are tuned to the same clear frequency. Check volume levels on both the screen and your car stereo.
- CarPlay/Android Auto Not Connecting: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone. Re-attempt the connection steps. For Android Auto, confirm your phone model is supported.
- Touchscreen Unresponsive: Try restarting the device by disconnecting and reconnecting the power.
- Poor FM Transmission Quality: Try a different FM frequency to avoid interference. Adjust the equalizer settings on your streaming app if necessary.
