Safety Information

Always handle firearms and optics responsibly. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe before mounting or adjusting the optic. Do not look directly into the sun through the optic, as this can cause permanent eye damage.

Battery Installation

The ARO-MRS-GR uses a CR2032 battery. The side-loading battery tray allows for easy replacement without removing the optic from the firearm.

  1. Locate the battery tray on the side of the optic.
  2. Use a small flat-head tool or coin to open the battery tray.
  3. Insert a fresh CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Close the battery tray securely.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Shake Awake

The optic features Holosun's Shake Awake technology. It will automatically power on when motion is detected and enter sleep mode after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life. To manually power on, press any brightness button. To manually power off, press and hold the "-" button for 3 seconds.

Brightness Adjustment

The ARO-MRS-GR has 12 brightness settings: 10 for daylight and 2 for night vision compatibility.

  • Press the "+" button to increase brightness.
  • Press the "-" button to decrease brightness.

Reticle Selection

The Multi-Reticle System (MRS) allows you to switch between a 2 MOA green dot and a 65 MOA circle with a 2 MOA green dot.

  • To cycle through reticle options, press and hold the "-" button for approximately 1 second (after powering on, but before powering off).

Windage and Elevation Adjustment

Adjustments for windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) are made using the included multi-tool. Each click typically represents 0.5 MOA (Minute of Angle) adjustment.

  • Elevation Adjustment: Use the multi-tool to turn the elevation turret (usually on top of the optic). Turning clockwise typically moves the point of impact down, counter-clockwise moves it up.
  • Windage Adjustment: Use the multi-tool to turn the windage turret (usually on the side of the optic). Turning clockwise typically moves the point of impact right, counter-clockwise moves it left.

Perform zeroing procedures at a shooting range following standard safety protocols.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Lenses

Use the provided lens cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the objective and ocular lenses. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution designed for optics can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.

General Care

  • Keep the optic covered with lens caps when not in use to protect the lenses.
  • Store the optic in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Periodically check the mounting screws for tightness, especially after heavy use.
