The PD100XS offers a 24-bit/48kHz sampling rate for improved sound detail, double noise cancellation through a customized dynamic microphone core and Maono Link software, precise RGB brightness adjustment, and a convenient tap-to-mute function. It is compatible with Windows, Mac OS, PC, Laptop, PS4/PS5, and audio mixers.

Setup
Follow these steps to set up your MAONO PD100XS microphone:
- Assemble the Boom Arm: Securely attach the mic boom arm to your desk using the provided C-clamp. Adjust the arm to your desired position.
- Attach the Microphone: Mount the dynamic microphone onto the boom arm. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Connect the Microphone: You have two connectivity options:
- USB Connection: Connect the supplied USB-C to USB-A/C cable from the microphone's USB-C port to an available USB port on your PC, Laptop, PS4, or PS5. This mode allows access to Maono Link software features.
- XLR Connection: (XLR cable not included) Connect an XLR cable from the microphone's XLR port to a compatible audio interface or mixer. This mode is ideal for advanced audio setups.
- Install Maono Link Software (for USB Mode): For advanced control over sound settings and RGB lighting, download and install the Maono Link software from the official MAONO website. The software is compatible with Windows and Mac OS.

Operating Instructions
The MAONO PD100XS offers intuitive controls for an enhanced audio experience:
- Tap-to-Mute Button: Located on the microphone, a silent soft-touch mute key allows you to instantly mute/unmute your audio. This is particularly useful during live streams or calls to prevent unwanted sounds from being transmitted. (USB Mode Only)
- Gain Control: The microphone features a gain knob to adjust the microphone input level and a separate headphone gain knob to control the volume of your live monitoring. (USB Mode Only)
- RGB Lighting Control: The microphone features a unique RGB design with 3 modes and 9 color options. You can customize static and dynamic RGB lighting effects. Adjust color, brightness, or turn off the lights using the Maono Link software or the bottom RGB button. (USB Mode Only)

Maono Link Software (USB Mode Only)
When connected via USB, the Maono Link software unlocks advanced audio customization:
- Double Noise Cancellation: Utilize the latest self-developed algorithm to minimize ambient noise. The software allows you to freely adjust the noise reduction level to suit various environments.
- Customizable EQ: Tailor your audio output with 4 preset EQ modes and 7 adjustable EQ bands. Choose from Flat, High Pass, Presence Boost, or High-Pass and Presence Boost for different recording scenarios.
- Tone Presets: Select from 4 tone presets to make your voice sound unique.

- Sound is Too Quiet:
- Check the microphone gain knob on the device and adjust it to an appropriate level.
