5.1 Grinding Coffee Beans or Spices

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Ensure coffee beans or spices are dry and free from foreign objects.
  2. Load Grinding Chamber: Open the transparent lid and add the desired amount of coffee beans or spices into the stainless steel grinding chamber. Do not exceed the maximum capacity of 70-100 grams.
  3. Secure the Lid: Place the transparent lid onto the grinding chamber. Turn the lid clockwise in the lock direction until you hear a distinct "click" sound. The grinder will not operate if the lid is not securely locked.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  5. Start Grinding: Press and hold the power button located on the front of the unit. The blades will begin to rotate.
  6. Monitor Grinding: Observe the grinding process through the transparent lid. The fineness of the grind depends on the duration of grinding.
    • For coarse grind: Grind for a few seconds.
    • For medium grind: Grind for 10-20 seconds.
    • For fine grind: Grind for 20-30 seconds or longer, depending on desired consistency.
Note: For best results and to prevent overheating, use short pulses rather than continuous grinding for extended periods. Allow the motor to rest between pulses.
  7. Stop Grinding: Release the power button to stop the grinding process.
  8. Unplug and Remove Lid: Unplug the appliance from the power outlet. Carefully turn the lid counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.

    • Wipe the interior of the grinding chamber and the blades with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Ensure no moisture remains before next use.
  4. Cleaning the Lid: The transparent lid can be washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.
