3. Setup
3.1 Attaching the Neck Strap
Carefully thread the ends of the neck strap through the strap loops located on each side of the binocular body. Secure the strap firmly to prevent accidental drops.
3.2 Adjusting Eyecups for Eye Relief
The OLIMT 6x25 binoculars feature twist-up eyecups for customizable eye relief. Twist the eyecups up or down to achieve the optimal distance between your eyes and the eyepieces. This is crucial for comfortable viewing and to see the full field of view, especially for eyeglass wearers.
3.3 Adjusting Interpupillary Distance
Hold the binoculars up to your eyes and look through them. Adjust the distance between the two barrels by gently pushing or pulling them apart until you see a single, clear circular field of view. This ensures proper alignment with your eyes.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Focusing the Binoculars
Hold the binoculars firmly with both hands.
Look through the eyepieces at a distant object.
Rotate the central focus wheel until the image appears sharp and clear.

4.2 Wide-Angle Viewing
These binoculars offer a 9.5-degree wide field of view, providing an expansive observation experience. This wide angle is particularly beneficial for tracking moving objects or observing broad landscapes without constantly repositioning the binoculars.

5. Maintenance and Care
5.1 Cleaning the Lenses
To clean the lenses, first gently brush off any dust or debris using a soft lens brush or compressed air. Then, use the provided cleaning cloth or a clean, soft microfiber cloth to wipe the lenses in a circular motion. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning fluid designed for optics can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens. Avoid using abrasive cloths, paper towels, or household cleaners, as these can scratch or damage the lens coatings.
5.2 Storage
When not in use, store your binoculars in the provided carrying case to protect them from dust, moisture, and impacts. Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, which can affect the optical components and coatings.
5.3 General Handling
The binoculars feature a robust black housing with a non-slip grip for secure handling. Always use the neck strap to prevent accidental drops. Avoid exposing the binoculars to excessive moisture or submerging them in water, as they are not designed for full waterproofing.
