Installation

Follow these general steps for installing your UNITOPSCI P2 Mirror Dash Cam. For detailed vehicle-specific instructions, consult your vehicle's manual or a professional installer.

  1. Mount the Mirror Dash Cam: Securely attach the mirror dash cam over your existing rearview mirror using the provided bandages. Ensure the front camera has an unobstructed view of the road.
  2. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the dash cam and route it along the windshield trim to your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
  3. Install Rear Camera: Mount the backup camera at the rear of your vehicle, typically above the license plate. Ensure it has a clear view.
  4. Route Rear Camera Cable: Connect the extended line from the rear camera to the main dash cam unit. Carefully route the cable along the vehicle's interior trim to conceal it.
  5. Connect Reverse Trigger (Optional): For the reversing assist feature, connect the red wire from the extended line to your vehicle's reverse light positive wire. This allows the dash cam to automatically display the rear view with parking guidelines when you shift into reverse.
  6. Insert SD Card: Insert the provided 64GB TF card into the designated slot on the dash cam.
