Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your DERCASS Full White Loft Bed with Built-in Storage Wardrobe and Staircase. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.

Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• Always follow the manufacturer's recommended mattress size.
• Ensure all connections are tight before use. Periodically check and tighten as necessary.
• Do not allow children under 6 years of age on the upper bunk.
• Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
• Always use the provided guardrails on both sides of the upper bunk.
• Do not attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed.
• Use a dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Keep assembly instructions for future reference.

Setup and Assembly

Assembly requires two adults. Ensure all parts are present before beginning. Lay out all components on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

• Storage Wardrobe components (panels, clothes rack)

Note: This product comes in 2 packages. Ensure both packages have arrived before starting assembly.

Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and compare them against the parts list in your separate hardware and parts diagram (if provided).
2. Assemble Bed Frame:
   • Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard posts using the provided hardware. Do not fully tighten bolts until the frame is complete.
   • Insert the bed slats into the designated slots or attach them to the side rails. Ensure even spacing and secure attachment.

3. Assemble Staircase:
   • Connect the staircase steps to the side panels using the appropriate hardware.
   • Ensure each step is securely fastened and level.
4. Assemble Storage Wardrobe:
   • Connect the wardrobe panels to form the storage unit.
   • Install the clothes rack inside the wardrobe as shown in the diagrams.

5. Attach Staircase and Wardrobe to Bed Frame:
   • Align the assembled staircase and wardrobe unit with the designated attachment points on the bed frame.
   • Securely fasten the staircase and wardrobe to the bed frame using the provided hardware.

6. Install Guardrails: Attach the guardrails to the upper bunk bed frame as instructed. Ensure they are firmly secured.
7. Final Tightening: Once all components are assembled, go back and fully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten.
8. Mattress Placement: Place your full-size mattress on the bed slats. Ensure the mattress thickness does not exceed 6 inches for safety.

Operation

This loft bed is designed for efficient space utilization in your bedroom.

• Loft Bed: The upper bunk is designed to accommodate one full-size mattress. Always use the staircase for access.
• Staircase Storage: Each step of the staircase features a built-in storage compartment. Lift the step covers to access these compartments for storing daily necessities.
• Storage Wardrobe: The integrated wardrobe beneath the staircase provides additional storage space. It includes a clothes rack for hanging garments and shelves for folded items.
• Under-Bed Space: The open area beneath the loft bed can be utilized as a lounge area, study space, or for additional storage.

Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe the bed frame and surfaces with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or polishes that may damage the finish.
• Hardware Check: Periodically (every 3-6 months) check all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and safety.
• Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight recommendation of 350 pounds for the loft bed.
• Environmental Conditions: Avoid placing the bed in direct sunlight or near heat sources, which can cause wood to dry out or warp. Maintain a stable room temperature and humidity.
