2. Safety Information
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

4.1 Front View

- ALARM ON/OFF Switch: Activates or deactivates the alarm.
- 12/24 YEAR Button: Toggles between 12-hour and 24-hour time format, and sets the year.
- °C / °F MINUTE / DATE Button: Toggles between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display, and sets the minute/date.
- HOUR MONTH Button: Sets the hour/month.
- SET Button: Enters setting mode.
- RUN / ALM / DATE / TIME Switch: Selects the mode for setting (Run, Alarm, Date, Time).
- Battery Compartment: Holds 3 AAA batteries.
5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
- Insert 3 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- The clock display will activate.
5.2 Initial Time and Date Setting
After battery installation, the clock will typically display a default time. Follow these steps to set the correct time and date:
- Slide the RUN / ALM / DATE / TIME switch to TIME.
- Press the SET button. The hour digits will flash.
- Press the HOUR MONTH button to adjust the hour. Observe the AM/PM indicator for 12-hour format.
- Press the SET button again. The minute digits will flash.
- Press the °C / °F MINUTE / DATE button to adjust the minutes.
- Press the SET button again. The year digits will flash.
- Press the 12/24 YEAR button to adjust the year.
- Press the SET button again. The month digits will flash.
- Press the HOUR MONTH button to adjust the month.
- Press the SET button again. The date digits will flash.
- Press the °C / °F MINUTE / DATE button to adjust the date.
- Press the SET button one last time to confirm all settings and exit time/date setting mode.
- Slide the RUN / ALM / DATE / TIME switch back to RUN for normal operation.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Setting the Alarm
- Slide the RUN / ALM / DATE / TIME switch to ALM. The alarm time will be displayed.
- Press the SET button. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Press the HOUR MONTH button to adjust the alarm hour. Observe the AM/PM indicator.
- Press the SET button again. The alarm minute digits will flash.
- Press the °C / °F MINUTE / DATE button to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Press the SET button one last time to confirm the alarm setting.
- Slide the RUN / ALM / DATE / TIME switch back to RUN.
- To activate the alarm, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to ON. A bell icon will appear on the display.
6.2 Snooze Function and Backlight
- When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock. The alarm will pause for approximately 5 minutes.
- Pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button at any time will activate the shallow white backlight for about 5 seconds, providing temporary illumination of the display.
6.3 12/24 Hour Format
In normal RUN mode, press the 12/24 YEAR button to toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour time formats.
6.4 Temperature Display (°C / °F)
In normal RUN mode, press the °C / °F MINUTE / DATE button to switch the temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or display.
7.2 Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 5.1 for battery installation.
8. Troubleshooting
