2. Setup and Installation

The GOXAWEE Retractable Garden Hose Reel is designed for user-friendly setup. Follow these steps for proper installation.

2.1 Unboxing Contents

2.2 Mounting the Wall Bracket

1. Select a suitable location on a sturdy wall, ensuring it is close enough to a water source.
2. Position the metal wall bracket at the desired height and mark the drilling points.
3. Drill pilot holes at the marked points. Insert the ribbed plastic anchors if installing into masonry.
4. Secure the metal bracket to the wall using the self-tapping screws and the T-shaped socket wrench. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached.

2.3 Attaching the Hose Reel

1. Slide the hose reel onto the mounted metal bracket.
2. Insert the mounting rod through the designated holes on the bracket and the hose reel to secure it.
3. Connect the inlet hose from the reel to your water spigot, ensuring a tight, leak-proof connection.
4. Attach the 8-pattern spray nozzle to the end of the main hose.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Extending the Hose

To extend the hose, simply pull it gently to the desired length. The hose features an "Any Length Lock" mechanism, allowing it to lock automatically at your chosen point. Avoid pulling the hose beyond 30ft continuously to maintain optimal retraction performance.

3.2 Automatic Retraction

To retract the hose, give it a short, gentle tug. The advanced spring system will automatically rewind the hose smoothly and without tangles. Ensure the hose is clear of obstructions during retraction.
