3. Setup

3.1 Connecting to Your System

  2. Connect the Cable: Insert the USB-C end of the provided cable into the port on the back of the HIT BOX ULTRA controller.
  3. Connect to System: Insert the USB-A end of the cable into the USB-A port on your chosen gaming system.
  4. System Recognition: Your system should automatically detect the HIT BOX ULTRA. For Windows, drivers may install automatically. If not, ensure your operating system is up to date.

3.2 Platform Compatibility

  • PlayStation 5: Connect directly to any available USB port.
  • Windows PC: Connect directly to any available USB port. The system will typically install necessary drivers automatically.
  • Nintendo Switch: Connect to the USB port on the Nintendo Switch dock. Ensure "Pro Controller Wired Communication" is enabled in the Switch system settings.

4.1 Button Layout Overview

The HIT BOX ULTRA features a standard leverless button configuration, replacing the traditional joystick with directional buttons for precise movement control.

  • Directional Buttons: Located on the left side, these buttons control Up, Down, Left, and Right movements. The large button at the bottom is typically for "Up" input.
  • Action Buttons: Arranged on the right side, these buttons correspond to standard fighting game inputs (e.g., Light Punch, Medium Punch, Heavy Punch, Light Kick, etc.).

5.2 Button Replacement/Modification
