2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or damage when using the appliance, follow basic precautions, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.

3.2 Installation Options

Your Karinear Electric Cooktop can be used as a portable countertop unit or installed as a built-in appliance.

Countertop Use:

For countertop use, attach the provided bottom bracket feet to the cooktop. Ensure the cooktop is placed on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials.

Built-in Installation:

If you choose built-in installation, ensure proper ventilation and follow the cutting dimensions provided in the diagram below. Professional installation is recommended for built-in applications.

3.3 Power Connection

This cooktop is designed for 110V~120V household voltage and comes with a standard outlet plug. Simply plug it into a compatible electrical outlet. No special wiring is typically required.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the On/Off button to turn the cooktop on or off. The display will illuminate when powered on.

4.2 Temperature and Power Levels

The cooktop offers 9 adjustable power levels, providing a temperature range of approximately 200°F to 800°F. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the power level for each burner.

4.3 Pre-Programmed Cooking Functions

The cooktop comes with 8 pre-programmed cooking functions for convenience:

  • Melt
  • Simmer
  • Steam
  • Boil
  • Fry

  • Fast Heat

Press the Function button to cycle through these modes.

4.4 Timer Function

The integrated timer allows you to set cooking durations from 0 to 240 minutes. Once the set time expires, the cooktop will automatically shut off.

To set the timer: Press the Timer button, then use the + and - buttons to adjust the time.

4.5 Child Safety Lock

To activate the child safety lock, press and hold the Lock (3 sec) button for 3 seconds. This will lock all control buttons to prevent accidental operation. To unlock, press and hold the Lock (3 sec) button again for 3 seconds.

4.6 Cookware Compatibility

4.7 Automatic Power Adjustment

When both burners are in use, the maximum combined power is 2000W. Increasing the power level of one burner will cause the other burner to self-adjust and decrease its power if needed, to ensure the total power does not exceed 2000W and to protect the power wire.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 Cleaning the Cooktop

The black smooth ceramic glass surface is designed for easy cleaning. Allow the cooktop to cool completely before cleaning.

  • For stubborn stains, use a scraper (often included with the package) tilted at a 45-degree angle to gently scrape them off.
