Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to properly install the phone tether tab and attach the lanyards or wrist straps.
- Prepare Your Phone Case: Ensure you are using a full-coverage phone case with a charging port opening. The tether tab is designed to work exclusively with such cases.
- Insert the Tether Tab: Take one phone tether tab. Thread the small D-ring buckle end of the tab through the charging hole of your full-coverage phone case.
- Position the Tab: Once the D-ring is outside the charging port, ensure the main patch of the tether tab is securely placed inside the phone case, resting against the bottom edge of your phone. The tab is ultra-thin (0.02 inches / 0.7 mm) and will not interfere with charging.
- Secure Your Phone: Place your phone into the case, ensuring the tether tab remains flat and properly positioned. The D-ring should protrude from the charging port opening.
- Attach Lanyard/Strap: Connect the metal clip of your chosen lanyard (crossbody or wrist strap) to the D-ring of the tether tab. Ensure the clip is securely fastened.

Operating Instructions
The SEVENKA phone lanyards and tether tabs provide a hands-free solution for carrying your device and other small items.
Using the Crossbody Lanyard:
- Attach the crossbody lanyard to the tether tab's D-ring.
- Adjust the lanyard length to your preference for comfortable wear across your body or around your neck. The perimeter is adjustable up to 1.3 meters (4.3 feet).
- This allows for quick access to your phone while keeping your hands free for other activities.
Using the Wrist Strap:
- Attach the wrist strap to the tether tab's D-ring.
- Adjust the strap to fit comfortably around your wrist. The perimeter is adjustable up to 31 cm (1 foot).
- Provides a secure way to carry your phone, reducing the risk of drops.
Versatile Use:
The strong 6mm diameter polyester rope and 360-degree rotatable clip allow for attachment of various items beyond your phone, such as AirPods cases, keychains, USB drives, whistles, or card holders.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the tether tabs and straps with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Inspection: Periodically check the tether tabs, D-rings, and metal clips for any signs of wear or damage. Discontinue use if any component shows significant wear to prevent accidental detachment.
- Storage: Store the lanyards and tabs in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
- Problem: Tether tab does not fit or interferes with charging.
- Solution: Ensure your phone case is a full-coverage type with a charging port opening. The tab is designed to be ultra-thin (0.02 inches) and should not affect charging. If it does, check for proper alignment or if your case has an unusually small charging port opening.
- Problem: Lanyard or strap detaches easily.
- Solution: Verify that the metal clip is securely fastened to the D-ring of the tether tab. Inspect the clip and D-ring for any damage or deformation that might prevent a secure connection. Replace if damaged.
- Problem: Lanyard feels uncomfortable or too long/short.
- Solution: Use the adjustable sliders on the lanyard or wrist strap to customize the length for your comfort. The crossbody lanyard adjusts up to 1.3m perimeter, and the wrist strap up to 31cm perimeter.
