1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your Drphiru Condensate Pump. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference. This pump is designed for removing condensate from air conditioning units, HVAC systems, and commercial ice makers.
2. Safety Instructions
- Ensure the power supply matches the pump's specifications (110V).
- Always disconnect power before performing any installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
- Do not operate the pump with a damaged power cord or plug.
- Do not immerse the pump in water. It is designed for condensate removal, not submersible use.
- Keep children and unauthorized personnel away from the operating unit.
- Install the pump on a stable, level surface or securely mount it to a wall.
- Ensure all hose connections are secure and leak-free to prevent water damage.
- The pump features a thermal overload protected motor. If the motor overheats, it will automatically shut off and restart once cooled.

5. Installation Guide (Setup)
- Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove the pump and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Placement: Position the condensate pump on a stable, level surface near the condensate source (e.g., AC unit, ice maker). Alternatively, the pump can be wall-mounted using appropriate fasteners (not included) through the designated mounting points.
- Connect Inlet Hose: Connect the condensate drain line from your appliance to the 1.0-inch water inlet on the pump. Ensure a tight, leak-proof connection.
- Connect Outlet Hose: Attach a suitable discharge hose (0.4-inch diameter) to the water outlet nozzle. Route the discharge hose to a suitable drain point, ensuring it has a continuous downward slope or is routed to a higher drain point within the pump's 6.6 ft lift capability. Secure the hose with the provided clamps.
- Power Connection: Plug the 3.3 ft power cord into a standard 110V electrical outlet.
- Test Operation: Once installed, allow the appliance to produce condensate to verify the pump's automatic operation and check for any leaks.
6. Operating Instructions
The Drphiru Condensate Pump operates automatically. No manual intervention is required during normal operation.
- When condensate water in the pump's reservoir reaches approximately 1 inch, the pump will automatically activate.
- The pump will continue to run until the water level drops to approximately 0.4 inches, then it will automatically shut off.
- The pump is designed for quiet operation, with an average noise level of 22 dB.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your condensate pump.
- Disconnect Power: Always unplug the pump from the power outlet before any maintenance.
- Clean Reservoir: Periodically inspect the pump's reservoir for sludge, mold, or debris. Remove the cover (if applicable and accessible) and clean the interior with a mild detergent and water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Check Inlet/Outlet Hoses: Ensure the inlet and outlet hoses are free from kinks, blockages, or leaks. Clean any buildup in the hoses if necessary.
- Inspect Float Switch: Verify that the float switch moves freely and is not obstructed by debris. A stuck float switch can prevent the pump from activating or deactivating correctly.
- Reassemble and Test: After cleaning, reassemble any removed parts, reconnect the hoses, and plug the pump back into power. Test its operation to ensure it functions correctly.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your condensate pump, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pump does not turn on | No power; Float switch stuck; Thermal overload activated | Check power connection; Clean or free the float switch; Allow pump to cool down and reset. |
| Pump runs continuously | Float switch stuck in 'on' position; Leak in discharge line; Pump not able to clear water (e.g., clogged line, excessive lift) | Clean or free the float switch; Inspect discharge line for leaks; Check for clogs in discharge line or ensure lift is within specifications. |
| Water leaks from pump or connections | Loose hose connections; Damaged hoses; Cracked pump housing | Tighten hose clamps; Replace damaged hoses; If housing is cracked, pump may need replacement. |
| Pump is noisy | Debris in pump; Pump not level; Air in system | Clean pump reservoir; Ensure pump is on a stable, level surface; Allow air to purge from the system. |
