5.1 Charging the Device

The FAHEFANA M3 is powered by a built-in Lithium Polymer battery and supports USB-C fast charging.

2. Connect the other end of the cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press the ON/MEASURE button. The display will light up.
• To Power Off: Long-press the C/OFF button for approximately 3 seconds. The device also features an intelligent automatic shutdown function to conserve battery.

6.2 Switching Measurement Units

To change the measurement unit (meters, inches, feet):

• Press the +/-U button to cycle through the available units. The selected unit will be displayed on the screen.

6.3 Selecting Measurement Reference Point

1. Single Measurement: Press the ON/MEASURE button once to activate the laser. Press it again to take a single measurement. The result will appear on the display.
2. Continuous Measurement: From single measurement mode, long-press the ON/MEASURE button. The device will continuously measure and display the current distance. Press ON/MEASURE again to stop.
3. Area Measurement: Press the MODE button until the area icon appears. Take two consecutive measurements (length and width). The device will automatically calculate and display the area.
4. Volume Measurement: Press the MODE button until the volume icon appears. Take three consecutive measurements (length, width, height). The device will calculate and display the volume.
5. Pythagorean Measurement: Press the MODE button until the Pythagorean icon appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to take the required measurements (e.g., hypotenuse and one side) to calculate the unknown side.

• Pull out the tape measure to the desired length. The automatic lock feature will hold it in place.
