4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

The integrated battery lasts up to 14 hours on a full charge. To charge the device:

1. Locate the USB-C port on the device.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the device and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
3. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

4.2 Flexible Mounting

The SMART+ DOT-IT TWIST & SHAKE offers flexible mounting options:

• Magnetic Attachment: The device features a magnetic back, allowing it to be attached to any metallic surface.
• Adhesive Plate: Use the included adhesive plate to mount the lamp on non-metallic surfaces. Simply peel off the protective film and press the plate firmly onto a clean, dry surface. The lamp can then be magnetically attached to this plate.

5. Operating Instructions

The SMART+ DOT-IT TWIST & SHAKE can be controlled via simple press and rotation gestures.

5.1 Button Control

• 1x Press: Press the top surface once to start the DOT-IT and activate the color mode.

• 3x Press: Press the top surface three times to switch between color mode and white light.

5.2 Rotation Control

Rotate the device to adjust settings:

• Turn: Rotate the lamp to change colors in color mode or to change the ambient sounds in White Noise mode.

5.3 Ambient Sounds

The device offers four ambient sounds for a soothing atmosphere:

• Forest Rhythms
• Gentle Water
• Seagull
• Ocean Waves

These sounds can be cycled through using the rotation control in White Noise mode.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

To clean the device, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7.2 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Recharge it regularly, especially if it will not be used for an extended period.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Device Not Turning On

• Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB-C cable.
• Press the top surface once to attempt to power it on.

8.2 App Connectivity Issues

• Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
• Make sure the device is within range of your smartphone.
