Safety Instructions

Setup
- Assemble the Food Tank: Align the transparent strip of the food bucket with the display on the main unit. Rotate the food bucket clockwise until a locking sound is heard, securing it in place.
- Insert Desiccant Bag: Open the desiccant bag holder located on the underside of the lid. Insert the desiccant bag and press both sides to secure it. This helps keep food fresh.
- Attach Bowls: Invert the main body. Place the plastic bowl bases onto the feeder's dispensing outlets and rotate to lock them into place. Then, place the stainless steel bowls on top of the plastic bases.
- Fill Food Tank: Pour dry pet food into the food bucket. Ensure the kibble size is between 2-10 mm.
- Secure Lid: Place the lid on top of the food tank. Hold the bucket with one hand and rotate the lid to lock it. Ensure both lid locks are engaged.
- Power Connection: Connect the USB cable to the feeder and the 5V power adapter. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet. For backup power, insert 3 D cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit.

Operating Instructions
Control Panel Overview:
The feeder features an LCD screen and three buttons: Microphone (Voice Record), Up Arrow, Down Arrow, and SET.

Setting Current Time:
- Press and hold the SET button until the hour digit flashes.
- Use the Up and Down arrows to adjust the hour.
- Press SET again to move to the minute digit, then adjust with Up/Down arrows.
- Press SET to confirm and exit time setting.
Programming Meal Schedule:
The feeder supports up to 6 meals per day. Each meal can be programmed with a specific time and portion size.

- Press the SET button once to enter meal programming mode. The meal number (e.g., '1') will flash.
- Use Up/Down arrows to select the meal number you wish to program (1-6).
- Press SET. The hour digit for that meal will flash. Adjust with Up/Down arrows.
- Press SET. The minute digit will flash. Adjust with Up/Down arrows.
- Press SET. The portion size (1-12) will flash. Adjust with Up/Down arrows. (1 portion is approximately 4g-8g).
- Press SET to save the settings for the current meal and move to the next meal number, or press and hold SET to exit programming mode.
Voice Recording:
You can record a 10-second voice message to play at each meal time.

- Press and hold the Microphone button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
- Speak your message clearly into the microphone for up to 10 seconds.
- Release the Microphone button to end the recording. A beep will confirm the recording is saved.
- To play back the recording, briefly press the Microphone button.
Single vs. Dual Bowl Configuration:
The feeder can be used for two cats or adapted for a single cat or for serving wet food/snacks in one bowl.

- To use as a single feeder or for manual feeding in one bowl, insert the provided stopper into one of the dispensing outlets. This will block food from being dispensed into that bowl.
- To revert to dual feeding, remove the stopper.
Manual Feeding:
To dispense a single portion manually, briefly press the Down arrow button. This will dispense one portion immediately.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and proper functioning of your feeder.

- Detachable Parts: The food tank, lid, and bowls are detachable and can be hand-washed with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
- Main Unit: The main feeder unit, which contains electronic components, is NOT WASHABLE. Wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Desiccant Bag: Replace the desiccant bag every 1-2 months to maintain food freshness.
- Food Residue: Periodically check the dispensing mechanism for any food residue and clean as necessary to prevent blockages.
Troubleshooting
- Feeder not dispensing food:
- Check if the food tank is empty.
- Ensure the feeder is powered on and connected to the power adapter, or that batteries are installed and have sufficient charge.
- Verify that meal times and portions are correctly programmed.
- Check for kibble jams in the dispensing mechanism. Clean if necessary.
- Settings reset after power outage:
- The feeder is equipped with a memory chip to retain settings during power interruptions. Ensure D cell backup batteries are installed and functional. If settings are still lost, replace the backup batteries.
- Voice recording not playing:
- Ensure the recording process was completed correctly (held button for 3 seconds, released after recording). Re-record if necessary.
- Food not dispensing into both bowls:
- Check if the food stopper is inserted into one of the dispensing outlets. Remove it for dual feeding.
