Operating Instructions
Your OLIXIS office chair is designed for comfort and versatility. Familiarize yourself with its adjustable features:
1. Height Adjustment
To adjust the seat height, locate the lever under the seat cushion on the right side. While seated, pull the lever upwards to lower the seat. To raise the seat, stand up and pull the lever upwards. Release the lever at your desired height. The seat height is adjustable from 15.94 inches to 19.69 inches.
2. Tilt Function and Tension
The chair features a tilt function allowing the seat to swing back up to 21 degrees. To activate the tilt, pull the same lever (used for height adjustment) outwards. To lock the chair in an upright position, push the lever inwards. To adjust the tilt tension, turn the round knob located under the seat cushion at the front. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).
3. Swivel Function
The chair is equipped with a 360-degree swivel base, allowing for easy movement and access to different areas around your workspace without needing to reposition the entire chair.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your OLIXIS office chair.
- Cleaning: For general cleaning, wipe the PU leather and other surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the material.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and safety.
- Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the recommended weight capacity of the chair.
- Environment: Keep the chair away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent material degradation.
Troubleshooting

- Chair feels wobbly: Ensure all assembly screws are securely tightened. Check that the base and casters are properly attached.
- Height adjustment not working: Verify that the gas lift lever is fully engaged. If the issue persists, the gas lift mechanism may need replacement.
- Chair squeaks: Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts, such as the tilt mechanism or caster stems.
- Casters not rolling smoothly: Check for debris (hair, dust) caught in the casters and clean them.
