- 180° Rotatable LCD Screen: The digital LCD screen can be rotated 180° for easy reading of measurements from any angle. The display automatically shuts off after 1 minute of inactivity or no water flow to conserve battery.
- Professional Water Loss Protection: Features an improved circulation speed flow impeller to minimize clogging and a built-in rubber ring with multi-layer threaded interface to prevent leaks.
- 4 Water Flow Measurement Modes: Provides real-time water flow measurement, last water consumption, total water consumption 1, and total water consumption 2. Total consumption modes can be reset by long-pressing the MENU button.
- High-Precision Hall Sensor: Equipped with a sensitive Hall sensor for quick and reliable measurements, accurate to ±5%.

Setup and Installation
Battery Installation
The water meter is powered by one CR2032 button cell battery (included).
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the device.
- Insert the battery cover opener (or a coin) into the notch on the back of the device.
- Rotate the opener counter-clockwise to unlock and open the battery cover.
- Install the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Replace the battery cover and rotate the opener clockwise to secure it.

Water Meter Connection
The RAINPOINT Water Meter comes with brass inlet and outlet connections, compatible with standard garden hose fittings. It includes adapters for 1/2" and 3/4" hose connections.
- Ensure all connections are clean and free of debris.
- Attach the appropriate adapter (if needed) to your water source (e.g., outdoor faucet) or hose.
- Connect the water meter's brass inlet to the water source. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection. Teflon tape can be used for extra sealing if necessary.
- Connect your garden hose or watering accessory to the water meter's brass outlet.
- Verify that the water flow direction aligns with the arrows on the meter for accurate readings. The meter can measure flow in both directions, and the display orientation can be adjusted.

Operating Instructions
Display and Buttons
The water meter features a digital LCD screen and two control buttons: a Direction button and a MENU button.
- Direction Button: Briefly press to rotate the LCD screen 180° for optimal viewing angle.
- MENU Button: Press to cycle through different measurement modes. Long press to reset total consumption records.
Measurement Modes
The device offers four distinct measurement modes:
- Flow Mode: Displays the real-time water flow rate (e.g., GAL/Min or L/Min).
- Last Water Consumption: Shows the volume of water consumed during the previous watering session.
- Total Water Consumption 1 (TOTAL 1): Accumulates the total water consumption. This mode can be reset independently.
- Total Water Consumption 2 (TOTAL 2): Another independent accumulator for total water consumption, useful for tracking different periods or applications.
To switch between modes, briefly press the MENU button. To clear the record in TOTAL 1 or TOTAL 2 mode, long press the MENU button until the display resets.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the water meter with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, especially during winter or freezing temperatures, remove the water meter from the hose/tap. Drain any remaining water and store it indoors in a dry, frost-free location to prevent damage.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the CR2032 battery when the display becomes dim or unresponsive. Follow the battery installation steps.
- Gasket and Filter Check: Periodically inspect the rubber gaskets and the included filter for wear or debris. Replace them if necessary to maintain a leak-free connection and accurate flow.
Important: Keep from freezing. The flow meter should be removed and stored indoors in winter seasons to avoid potential damage.
Troubleshooting
- No Display / Dim Display:
- Check if the CR2032 battery is installed correctly with the positive (+) side up.
- Replace the battery with a new one.
- Ensure the battery cover is securely closed.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the water meter is installed correctly and the flow direction is consistent.
- Check for any blockages or debris in the meter's inlet or outlet.
- Verify that the water flow rate is within the specified operating range (0.13-12 GAL/Min or 0.5-45.5 L/Min). Very low flow rates might not be registered accurately.
- Water Leakage:
- Ensure all connections are tightened securely.
- Check the rubber gaskets (washers) at the connections for proper seating or damage. Replace if worn.
- Apply Teflon tape to threaded connections if leaks persist.
- Display Not Rotating:
- Ensure you are pressing the "Direction" button firmly.
