Setup and Assembly

Before first use, ensure all components are present and properly assembled. Always ensure the battery is removed before assembly or maintenance.

1. Attach Blower Tube: For blowing mode, securely attach the desired blower tube section to the main unit's air outlet. Ensure it clicks into place.
2. Assemble for Vacuum/Mulcher Mode:
   • Attach the vacuum tube to the main unit's intake opening.
   • Connect the collection bag to the air outlet. Ensure both are firmly attached to prevent debris leakage.

3. Install Battery: Insert a fully charged 40V battery into the battery slot on the main unit until it locks securely.
4. Attach Shoulder Strap: For extended use and reduced fatigue, attach the provided shoulder strap to the designated points on the unit. Adjust the strap length for comfortable operation.

1. Charging Batteries:
   • Place the 4.0Ah lithium batteries into the dual fast charger.
   • Connect the charger to a standard power outlet. The indicator lights on the charger will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours per battery.

2. Powering On/Off: Press the power switch button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.
3. Adjusting Speed: Use the "Speed Up" (▲) and "Speed Down" (▼) buttons to select from 5 different speed settings. Lower speeds (1-2) are suitable for light debris like household dust or pet hair, while higher speeds (3-4) are for fallen leaves and snow.
4. TURBO Mode: For maximum power and air volume (up to 330 CFM), press the "TURBO" button. This is ideal for stubborn or wet debris.
5. Blowing Operation: Direct the blower tube towards the debris you wish to clear. Maintain a steady motion to sweep leaves and other materials into piles.

6. Vacuum and Mulching Operation:
   • Ensure the vacuum tube and collection bag are correctly installed.
   • Guide the vacuum tube over the debris. The unit will suction the material into the collection bag and mulch it, reducing its volume.
   • The mulching ratio is 12:1, significantly reducing the volume of collected leaves.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your MAXLANDER unit.

• Cleaning the Unit: After each use, wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Emptying and Cleaning Collection Bag: Empty the 45L collection bag regularly. The bottom zipper design allows for easy emptying. The bag can be washed with water and air-dried for reuse.
• Clearing Debris from Impeller: Periodically check the internal fan blade (impeller) for any entangled debris. The special internal fan blade design reduces entanglement, but occasional checks are recommended to prevent motor damage. Always remove the battery before inspecting the impeller.
• Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store fully discharged batteries for long periods. Charge them periodically if not in use.
• Storage: Store the unit in a dry, covered area, out of reach of children.
