5.1. Charging the Battery

5.2. Initial Power On

1. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception.
2. Press and hold the Power button (integrated into the rotary knob) to turn on the radio.
3. The radio will guide you through initial setup, including language selection. Use the rotary knob to select your preferred language and press to confirm.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power button (rotary knob) to turn the radio on or off.

6.2. Mode Selection

Press the Mode button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: DAB, FM, and Bluetooth.

6.3. DAB/DAB+ Radio

1. Select DAB mode using the Mode button.
2. If it's the first time or you've moved location, the radio will perform an automatic scan. To manually initiate a scan, press Menu, select 'Full Scan', and press the rotary knob to confirm.
3. Once scanning is complete, turn the rotary knob to browse available stations. Press the knob to select a station.
4. To store a preset: Tune to the desired station, then press and hold the Presets button. Use the rotary knob to select a preset number (1-40) and press the knob to confirm.
5. To recall a preset: Short press the Presets button. Use the rotary knob to select the desired preset number and press the knob to confirm.

6.4. FM Radio

1. Select FM mode using the Mode button.
2. To manually tune: Turn the rotary knob to adjust the frequency.
3. To auto-scan: Press and hold the rotary knob. The radio will scan for the next available station.

6.5. Bluetooth Mode

The radio features dual alarms.

1. Press the Alarm button. Use the rotary knob to select 'Alarm 1' or 'Alarm 2' and press to confirm.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts to set the alarm time, duration, source (DAB, FM, or Buzzer), and frequency (Daily, Weekdays, Weekends, Once).
3. When an alarm sounds, press any button (except Power) to activate snooze. Press the Power button to turn off the alarm.

6.7. Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows the radio to turn off automatically after a set period.

1. Press the Sleep button repeatedly to cycle through available sleep durations (e.g., 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 minutes, or Off).
2. The selected duration will be displayed briefly. The radio will automatically turn off after this time.

1. Press the Menu button.
2. Use the rotary knob to navigate to 'Equalizer' and press to select.

6.9. Headphone Use

Connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack on the side of the radio for private listening. The internal speaker will be muted automatically.
