6. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, tape, and labels.
- Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is at least 5 inches of space around the unit for proper ventilation.

7. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. The 'ICE' indicator light will flash.
- Select Ice Making Mode: The control panel features 'LARGE' and 'SMALL' buttons. Press the 'SELECT' button to toggle between these modes. While this model produces pebble ice, these options may adjust the ice-making cycle for slight variations in ice consistency.

8. Maintenance & Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and ice quality.
- Self-Cleaning Function: The ice maker features a built-in self-clean function. To activate, press and hold the 'HOLD TO CLEAN' button for 3 seconds. The 'CLEAN' indicator light will illuminate, and the machine will run a cleaning cycle for approximately 5 minutes.
- Draining Water: After the self-cleaning cycle or when performing manual cleaning, unplug the unit. Locate the drain plug at the bottom of the unit and remove it to drain the water.
- Manual Cleaning: For thorough cleaning, remove the ice basket and clean it with mild soap and water. Wipe down the interior of the water reservoir and ice-making components with a soft cloth and a diluted solution of vinegar or a mild cleaning agent. Rinse thoroughly.
