2. Components Overview
Main Brush
The anti-tangle main brush is constructed from durable rubber and nylon. It is designed to effectively capture food particles, hair, dirt, dust, and pet dander from various floor types, including area rugs, hardwood, tile, marble, laminate, and linoleum. Its design also helps minimize operational noise and protects floor surfaces.

HEPA Filter
The high-efficiency particulate arrestance (HEPA) filter is engineered to capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. This effectively intercepts dust and allergens, preventing their release back into the air and contributing to a healthier home environment.

Side Brush
The side brush features soft nylon bristles and an ABS material main structure. It is designed to enhance dust removal by reaching into corners, along walls, and into crevices, ensuring a comprehensive clean. The elastic material and design help prevent hair from becoming entangled in the brush's structural gaps.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance of your robot vacuum accessories extends their lifespan and ensures consistent cleaning performance.
Main Brush Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly inspect the main brush for tangled hair or debris. Use the provided cleaning tool to cut and remove any trapped hair or particles.
- Replacement Frequency: For optimal performance, replace the main brush every 3-6 months, depending on usage and pet hair presence.
HEPA Filter Maintenance
- Cleaning: The HEPA filters are washable. Gently tap the filter to remove loose dust. For deeper cleaning, rinse the filter under running water. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinserting it into the dustbin.
- Replacement Frequency: Replace HEPA filters every 2-3 months for efficient filtration and to prevent reduced suction.
Side Brush Maintenance
- Cleaning: Inspect side brushes regularly for wear or bending.
- Straightening Bent Bristles: If side brush bristles are bent (e.g., during shipment or heavy use), they can often be straightened. Soak the bent bristles in hot water for a few minutes. Gently straighten them, shake off excess water, and allow them to dry completely before reattaching.
- Replacement Frequency: Replace side brushes every 3-6 months or when bristles show significant wear or damage.

5. Troubleshooting
- Side brush appears bent: If the side brush bristles are bent during shipment or use, refer to the "Straightening Bent Bristles" section under Maintenance for instructions on how to restore them using hot water.
- Reduced suction or cleaning performance: Check if the HEPA filter is clogged with dust. Clean or replace the filter as per the maintenance guidelines. Also, ensure the main brush is free of tangled hair and debris.
- Unusual noise from brushes: Inspect the main brush and side brushes for any foreign objects, excessive hair entanglement, or damage. Clean the brushes thoroughly and ensure they are correctly installed and spinning freely.
- Parts do not fit: Ensure you have the correct accessory kit for your specific robot vacuum model. This kit is compatible with the Dreame Bot D10 Plus RLS3D. Note: Not for D10 Plus Gen 1.
