1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the HAUSHOF Steam Cleaner. This powerful 1500W appliance is designed to provide a deep, chemical-free clean for a variety of surfaces in your home and car. By using high-temperature steam, it effectively breaks down tough dirt, grease, and grime, ensuring a healthier and safer environment for your family and pets. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in fire, electric shock, or other injury or damage.

• Do not point the steam nozzle at people or pets. Steam is extremely hot and can cause severe burns.
• Use caution, as the handle and soft pipe may become hot during operation. Always handle with care.
• Avoid touching the hot soft pipe while cleaning to prevent burns.
• Always allow the cleaner to cool down completely before opening the safety cap to refill with water. The safety cap is tightly sealed to prevent steam leaks and will only loosen when pressure has dissipated.
• Steam is released only when the safety lock is disengaged and the trigger is pressed. For continuous steam output, you can release the safety lock button after steam begins to discharge and simply press the trigger.
• Indicator lights display the heating status: steam is ready when the yellow light turns off.
• Use clean water only. Do not add any chemicals, detergents, or corrosive substances to the steam cleaner's water tank. This can damage the appliance and void the warranty.

4. Setup Guide

1. Fill the Water Tank: Ensure the steam cleaner is unplugged and cool. Unscrew the safety cap. Use the provided measuring cup and funnel to fill the 51oz (1.5L) water tank with clean water. For optimal and smooth steam output, it is recommended to fill with 0.5–1.2L of water. Do not overfill.

2. Secure the Cap: Screw the safety cap back on tightly to prevent any steam leaks during operation.
3. Connect Accessories: Attach the desired cleaning accessory (e.g., floor brush, high-pressure nozzle, small nylon brush) to the steam gun or extension tubes as needed for your cleaning task.

4. Power On and Heat Up: Plug the steam cleaner into a suitable power outlet. The indicator lights will illuminate. The unit will take approximately 7 to 9 minutes to heat up. The yellow light will turn off when the steam is ready for use.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Release Steam: Once the yellow indicator light turns off, the steam cleaner is ready. Switch the safety lock on the steam gun to the "ON" position and press the trigger to release steam.
2. Continuous Steam: For continuous steam output, you can release the safety lock button after steam begins to discharge and simply press the trigger. To stop steam, switch the safety lock back to "ON" and release the trigger.
3. Cleaning Surfaces:
   • Floors & Tiles: Use the floor brush with the towel attachment for large surfaces. Move the brush slowly over the surface to allow the steam to penetrate and lift dirt.

   • Grout & Tight Spaces: The high-pressure nozzle, small nylon brush, or big nylon brush are ideal for cleaning grout lines, corners, and other hard-to-reach areas.
   • Fabrics & Upholstery: Use the ironing brush or appropriate nozzle for refreshing sofas, curtains, cushions, and car seats. Test on an inconspicuous area first.

   • Windows & Glass: Attach the glass brush for streak-free cleaning of windows and mirrors.
4. Refilling During Use: If the water tank runs low and the steam output decreases, turn off the unit and unplug it. Allow it to cool down completely before carefully unscrewing the safety cap and refilling with water.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your HAUSHOF Steam Cleaner.

• Cool Down: Always allow the unit to cool down completely after use and before attempting to clean or store it.
• Empty Water Tank: After each use, it is recommended to empty any remaining water from the tank once the unit has cooled down.
• Clean Accessories: Wash and dry all accessories after use. The towel of the floor brush can be machine washed.
• Storage: Store the steam cleaner and its accessories in a cool, dry place. The unit features built-in storage for many of its attachments, making organization easy.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your HAUSHOF Steam Cleaner, refer to the following common solutions:

• No Steam Output:
  • Check if the unit is properly plugged in and powered on.
  • Ensure the water tank has sufficient water. Refill if necessary (after cooling).
  • Allow adequate time (7-9 minutes) for the unit to heat up. The yellow indicator light must be off.
  • Verify that the safety lock is disengaged and the trigger is pressed.
• Weak Steam:
  • Ensure the water tank is filled with 0.5-1.2L of water for optimal pressure.
  • Check for any blockages in the nozzle or attachments. Clean if necessary.
  • Allow the unit to reheat if the yellow light turns on during prolonged use.
• Water Leaking:
  • Ensure the safety cap is screwed on tightly.
  • Check that all attachments are securely connected.
  • Verify that the sealing rings are properly in place and not damaged. Replace if needed (5 spare rings included).
