Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your humidifier for first use:

1. Placement: Place the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and appliances. Ensure the mist outlet is not directed at furniture or electronics.
2. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
3. Fill Water Tank: The humidifier features a top-fill design. Remove the top cover. Fill the 1.5-gallon tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not use hot water. Do not fill past the MAX fill line. Replace the top cover securely.
4. Install Demineralization Cartridge: Locate the demineralization cartridge slot at the bottom of the water tank. Insert the provided demineralization cartridge. This helps reduce mineral buildup and white dust.
5. Insert Batteries into Remote: Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert the two "AAA" batteries, observing polarity (+/-) markings.

Operating Instructions

Controls and Display

Your humidifier can be operated using the LED touch panel on the unit or the included remote control. The digital display shows current humidity levels and settings.

• Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• Mist Settings: Cycle through 7 mist output levels to adjust the intensity of the mist.
• Warm/Cool Mist: Select between warm mist (for added comfort in colder environments) or cool mist (for general humidification).
• Programmable Humidistat: Set your desired humidity level. The smart-adjust humidity sensor will automatically turn the unit on/off to maintain this level. The color indicator on the display provides a quick visual of the current humidity status.
• UV-C Technology: This feature operates internally to reduce bacteria, mold, and fungus in the mist. It is always active when the unit is running and is not visible to the eye.
• Timer: Set an auto-off timer for up to 12 hours.
• Night Light: Turn the soft night light ON or OFF.
• Auto Shut-off: The unit will automatically turn off when the water tank is empty.

Aromatherapy Feature

Enhance your environment with essential oils using the built-in aromatherapy tray:

1. Locate the essential oil tray at the base of the humidifier.
2. Pull out the tray.
3. Add 5-7 drops of your favorite essential oil onto one of the included essential oil pads.
4. Slide the tray back into the humidifier. The aroma will diffuse into the air along with the mist.
5. To change scents, replace the essential oil pad. Additional pads can be purchased separately.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and mold. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

Daily Maintenance

• Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
• Wipe the tank and base dry with a clean, dry cloth.

Weekly Cleaning (or more often with hard water)

1. Descaling the Tank:
   • Pour 2 cups of white vinegar into the water tank.
   • Replace the top cover and gently swirl the vinegar around the tank.
   • Let it soak for 30 minutes.
   • Empty the vinegar and rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
2. Descaling the Base:
   • Pour 2 cups of white vinegar into the base reservoir.
   • Let it soak for 30 minutes.
   • Using a soft brush or cloth, clean the internal components, including the ultrasonic transducer.
   • Rinse the base thoroughly with clean water. Do not submerge the base in water.
3. Clean Tank Technology: The built-in Clean Tank Technology helps protect the tank from mold and mildew. However, regular manual cleaning as described above is still recommended.
4. Demineralization Cartridge: Replace the demineralization cartridge every 30-40 fillings, or when you notice increased white dust around the humidifier.
