5.1 Placement

Place the unit on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.

5.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN jack on the rear of the unit.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.

5.3 Initial Turntable Setup

  1. Remove the protective cap from the stylus (needle).
  2. Gently release the tonearm lock.

  1. Lift the dust cover.
  2. Place a vinyl record on the turntable platter. If playing a 45 RPM single, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
  3. Select the appropriate speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch located on the turntable deck.
  4. Move the tonearm gently over the record and lower it onto the desired track using the cueing lever. The platter will begin to spin automatically.
  5. To stop playback, lift the tonearm using the cueing lever and return it to the tonearm rest.

  1. Press the Function Select button until 'BT' appears on the LCD display. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
  3. Search for 'JORLAI' in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
  4. Once paired, the Bluetooth icon will stop flashing, and you can play audio from your device through the turntable's speakers.

  1. Press the Function Select button until 'CD' appears on the LCD display.
  2. Press the EJECT button to open the CD tray.
  3. Place a CD with the label side facing up into the tray and press EJECT again to close it.
  4. The unit will read the CD, and playback will start automatically. Use the Play/Pause, Stop, and Skip buttons for control.

6.5 Cassette Player Operation

Refer to Figure 6.3 for the location of the cassette player.

  1. Press the Function Select button until 'TAPE' appears on the LCD display.
  2. Insert a cassette tape into the cassette deck.
  3. Press the PLAY button to begin playback. Use the Fast Forward, Rewind, and Stop buttons for control.

6.6 USB/SD Playback and Recording

6.6.1 Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD/MMC card into the SD/MMC slot.
  2. Press the Function Select button until 'USB' or 'SD' appears on the LCD display.
  3. The unit will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Stop, Skip) to navigate.

6.6.2 Recording (Vinyl to Digital)

This feature allows you to convert vinyl records to digital audio files on a USB drive or SD card.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive or SD card into its respective slot.
  2. Select the PHONO mode.
  3. Start playing your vinyl record.
  4. Press the REC button on the unit or remote control to begin recording. The recording indicator will illuminate.
  5. Press the REC button again to stop recording. The recorded file will be saved to the USB drive or SD card.

6.7 AM/FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the Function Select button until 'AM' or 'FM' appears on the LCD display.
  2. Rotate the Tuning knob to manually scan for radio stations.
  3. For FM reception, extend the FM antenna on the rear of the unit for better signal.

6.8.1 Aux-in

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN jack on the front panel using a 3.5mm audio cable. Select 'PHONO/AUX' mode to play audio from the connected device.

6.8.2 RCA Line Out

Use the RCA Line Out jacks on the rear panel to connect the turntable to an external amplifier or powered speakers for enhanced sound output.

6.9 Headphone Jack

Connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack on the front panel for private listening. The built-in speakers will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
