Setup and Assembly

Assembly typically requires two adults. Lay out all components on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Identify each component using the provided parts list (if included in physical manual).
2. Attach Table Legs:

   Position the tabletop upside down on a protected surface. Attach the carbon steel legs to the designated mounting points on the underside of the tabletop using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure the legs are oriented correctly to allow for the extension mechanism.

3. Install Extension Mechanism:

   If the extension mechanism is not pre-assembled, follow the specific instructions for attaching the sliding rails and tension fittings. These components are designed for durability and smooth operation.

4. Tighten All Fasteners: Once all parts are assembled, carefully tighten all screws. Do not overtighten.
5. Adjust Feet: The table legs are equipped with adjustable non-slip rubber pads. Adjust these feet to ensure the table is level and stable on uneven floors, and to protect your flooring from scratches.
6. Upright the Table: With assistance, carefully turn the table upright.

Operating Instructions: Extending and Retracting the Table

The HIPIHOM Extendable Round Dining Table features a convenient mechanism to adjust its size from 43.2 inches to 59.1 inches in diameter, accommodating 4 to 6 people.

To Extend the Table:

1. Unlock Tabletop: Locate any locking mechanisms or latches on the underside of the table that secure the two halves of the tabletop. Release these locks.
2. Pull Apart Table Halves: Gently pull the two halves of the tabletop apart. The integrated extension leaf will automatically rise into position or can be manually unfolded, depending on the specific design.
3. Position Extension Leaf: Ensure the extension leaf is fully deployed and aligned with the main tabletop sections.
4. Lock Tabletop: Push the two halves of the tabletop back together until they meet the extension leaf and engage any locking mechanisms to secure the table in its extended oval shape.

To Retract the Table:

1. Unlock Tabletop: Release any locking mechanisms that secure the extended tabletop.
2. Retract Extension Leaf: Gently pull the tabletop halves apart slightly, then guide the extension leaf to fold down and store underneath the table.
3. Push Table Halves Together: Push the two main tabletop halves back together until they form a seamless round surface.
4. Lock Tabletop: Engage any locking mechanisms to secure the table in its compact round shape.

Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your dining table.

• Cleaning: Wipe the tabletop with a damp cloth for general cleaning. For spills, use a mild soap solution and immediately wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
• Protection: Use placemats or coasters to protect the surface from hot dishes, spills, and scratches.
• Heat and Moisture: Avoid placing hot items directly on the table surface. Protect from excessive moisture and direct sunlight to prevent warping or discoloration.
• Periodic Checks: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary.
