2. Safety Information

  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not operate the vacuum if it appears damaged in any way.

  • NOTE: Heavy sludge or algae may clog the filter and trigger motor overload protection. This will cause the red light to flash and the unit to shut down after 1 minute. Clean the filter and restart to resume normal operation.

5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your pool vacuum for first use:

  1. Charge the Battery: Before initial use, fully charge the vacuum's battery. Locate the rubber charging port and connect the provided charger. The battery indicator light will show charging status (refer to Figure 4.4). Ensure the port is dry.
  2. Attach Filter Bag: Open the debris chamber and insert the desired filter bag (300 Mesh for larger debris, 500 Mesh for fine particles). Ensure it is securely seated.
  3. Assemble Handle: Choose between the short handle or the extension/telescopic poles based on your cleaning needs. Connect the chosen pole securely to the main vacuum unit.
  4. Attach Brush Head: Securely attach the brush head (dirt sucker) to the bottom of the vacuum unit.

6. Operating Instructions

To begin cleaning your pool:

  1. Submerge the Vacuum: Gently lower the assembled vacuum into the water until it is fully submerged.
  2. Activate: Locate the power switch on the unit and turn it ON. The vacuum will begin to operate.
  3. Clean Surfaces: Guide the vacuum along the pool floor, walls, steps, and corners. Use the dirt sucker for broad areas and the vacuum head for precise cleaning in tight spots.
  4. Monitor Battery: Keep an eye on the battery indicator light (Figure 4.4) to know when recharging is needed.
  5. Turn Off: Once cleaning is complete or the battery is low, turn the power switch OFF.
  6. Remove from Water: Carefully lift the vacuum out of the water.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum:

  • Empty Debris Chamber: After each use, or when suction power decreases, empty the debris chamber.

  • Clean Filter Bags: Rinse the filter bags thoroughly with clean water to remove all trapped debris. Allow them to air dry completely before storing or reusing.
  • Clean Vacuum Head: Periodically inspect and clean the brush head to ensure brushes are free of hair or large debris.
  • Dry Charging Port: As a critical safety measure, always ensure the charging port is completely dry before plugging in the charger.
  • Storage: Store the vacuum in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your VIVOHOME Pool Vacuum, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
