- 1 x Storage Bag

4. Product Overview
The BSIDE X2 is a smart pen-type multimeter designed for electronic parameter detection, featuring an integrated infrared thermometer and emergency lighting.

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
The BSIDE X2 Multimeter requires 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included). To install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Use the provided screwdriver to open the battery cover.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.
5.2 Connecting Test Leads
To prepare the multimeter for measurement:
- Insert the red test lead into the "INPUT" terminal.
- Insert the black test lead into the "COM" terminal.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Measurement (AUTO Mode)
The BSIDE X2 features an intelligent AUTO mode for simplified operation.
- Press the red power button to turn on the instrument. The display will show "AUTO" mode.
- Connect the test leads in parallel to the circuit, power supply, or component to be tested.
- The multimeter will automatically discriminate between AC voltage, DC voltage, and resistance, and will display the AC frequency value if applicable.
- If the measured resistance is less than approximately 30Ω, the built-in buzzer will sound, indicating continuity.
- When measuring DC voltage, the display will simultaneously show the voltage polarity at the red test lead's point of contact.
- Read the measurement result from the digital display. An analog bar graph will also show the dynamic change of the value.
6.2 Infrared Temperature Measurement
The multimeter includes an infrared temperature measurement function.
- Refer to the specific button for activating the infrared thermometer function (usually marked with a thermometer icon).
- Point the infrared sensor towards the surface of the object whose temperature you wish to measure.
- The temperature reading will be displayed on the screen.
6.3 Emergency Lighting
The device is equipped with an emergency flashlight for use in low-light conditions.
- Locate the flashlight button (often marked with a light bulb icon).
- Press the button to turn the flashlight on or off.

9. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your BSIDE X2 Multimeter, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not turn on. | Dead or incorrectly installed batteries. | Check battery polarity or replace with new AAA batteries. |
| Inaccurate readings. | Low battery; incorrect connection; exceeding measurement range. | Replace batteries; ensure test leads are properly connected; verify the measurement is within the device's specified range. |
| Buzzer not sounding for continuity. | Resistance is above 30Ω. | The buzzer only sounds for resistance below approximately 30Ω. This is normal operation. |
| Display shows "OL" or "OVER". | Measurement value exceeds the selected range. | Ensure the measurement is within the device's maximum capabilities (e.g., 500V for voltage). |
