Installation Steps (General)

  1. Prepare the Cabinet: Ensure the cabinet opening matches the hood's dimensions (52 cm width, 28 cm depth, 13 cm height).
  2. Secure the Hood: Mount the cooker hood securely into the cabinet using the provided screws and brackets.
  3. Connect Electrical Supply: Connect the hood to a suitable electrical outlet, ensuring it is properly grounded.
  4. Choose Ventilation Mode: Decide between ducted extraction or recirculation.

Ducted Extraction Mode

In ducted mode, air is extracted from the kitchen and expelled outside the building through a ducting system.

  • Attach a 120mm diameter ducting hose to the exhaust outlet of the hood.
  • Route the ducting to an external vent, ensuring minimal bends for optimal airflow.
  • Ensure the ducting is sealed to prevent air leaks.

Recirculation Mode

In recirculation mode, air is filtered through a charcoal filter to remove odors and then returned to the kitchen. This mode requires the installation of a CBCF005 charcoal filter (not included).

  • Install the CBCF005 charcoal filter onto the motor housing as per the filter's instructions.
  • Ensure the air outlet is not connected to external ducting.
  • The filtered air will be released back into the kitchen through vents in the cabinet.
