1. Introduction

The Adore KS-240 is a 24-inch aluminum kids city e-bike designed for young riders, featuring a 30NM rear motor and a 10.4Ah battery, finished in a matte ice blue color. It offers a blend of style, stability, and performance for an agile and comfortable riding experience.
2. Safety Information
WARNING: Always wear a helmet when riding your e-bike. Obey all local traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform a pre-ride inspection before each use, checking brakes, tires, and battery level.
- Ensure all bolts and quick releases are securely tightened.
- Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Be aware of your surroundings and other road users.
- Avoid riding in adverse weather conditions, such as heavy rain or snow.
- The e-bike is delivered 98% pre-assembled. Final assembly must be performed by a qualified person to ensure safe operation.
3. Package Contents
Upon unpacking, please verify that all the following items are included:

4. Setup and Initial Assembly
Your Adore KS-240 E-Bike arrives approximately 98% pre-assembled. Professional final assembly is required to ensure safety and proper function. This section outlines the general steps for final assembly.
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the e-bike and all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.
4.2 Handlebar Installation
Attach the handlebars to the stem. Ensure they are centered and tightened securely. The image below shows the handlebar and stem assembly.

4.3 Pedal Installation
Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Apply a small amount of grease to the threads and screw them into the crank arms. Remember that the left pedal has a reverse thread. Tighten firmly.

4.4 Seat Post and Saddle Adjustment
Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the saddle height to ensure a comfortable and safe riding position. Secure the quick release or bolt firmly. The image below shows the saddle and seat post.

4.5 Tire Inflation
Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure indicated on the tire sidewall. The Adore KS-240 uses KENDA K1177 MTB-Reifen 24" x 2.1" tires.
4.6 Battery Charging
Before first use, fully charge the battery using the provided charger. Connect the charger to the battery port and then to a power outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status.
4.7 Brake Check
Verify that both front and rear mechanical disc brakes are functioning correctly. Ensure the brake levers are easily accessible and provide firm stopping power. The image below shows the front disc brake.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the e-bike, press and hold the power button on the display unit. To power off, press and hold the power button again. The display unit shows speed, distance, and battery level.

5.2 Pedal Assist Levels
The Adore KS-240 features multiple pedal assist levels. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the display to adjust the level of motor assistance. Higher levels provide more power, while lower levels conserve battery life.
5.3 Gear Shifting
This e-bike is equipped with a 7-speed SHIMANO Tourney derailleur and SHIMANO SL-M31 Rapid Fire shifter. Use the shifter on the handlebar to change gears according to terrain and desired speed. Shift gears smoothly to avoid strain on the drivetrain.

5.4 Braking
The e-bike features mechanical disc brakes. Apply both front and rear brakes simultaneously for effective and controlled stopping. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially at high speeds.
5.5 Rear Motor Operation
The 30NM rear hub motor provides assistance as you pedal. This motor is designed for smooth power delivery, making uphill climbs and longer rides easier. The image below shows the rear hub motor.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your Adore KS-240 E-Bike.
6.1 Cleaning
Clean your e-bike regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components or bearings.
6.2 Lubrication
Lubricate the chain regularly with bicycle-specific chain lubricant, especially after riding in wet conditions. Also, check and lubricate other moving parts as needed.
6.3 Brake Adjustment
Check brake pad wear and cable tension periodically. Adjust or replace components as necessary to maintain effective braking performance.
6.4 Tire Care
Inspect tires for wear, cuts, or punctures before each ride. Maintain correct tire pressure as indicated on the tire sidewall.
6.5 Battery Care
- Charge the battery fully after each ride, or at least once a month if not in use.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not attempt to open or repair the battery pack.

7. Troubleshooting
