4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the camera's Type-C interface and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The camera has a 3.7V/400mAh lithium battery and typically takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge.

4.2. Inserting a Micro SD Card

The camera requires a Micro SD card (up to 128GB) for storing recordings. Insert the card into the TF card slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is properly formatted before use. If the card is new or causes issues, connect the camera to a computer and format the card.

4.3. Initial Settings (Date/Time, Resolution, Motion Detection)

To configure advanced settings such as date/time stamp, video resolution (1080P/720P), loop recording, and motion detection parameters, you will need to modify a text document automatically generated by the camera on the Micro SD card. Connect the camera to a computer, access the SD card, locate the settings file, and edit the parameters as needed. Save the file and safely eject the camera.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1. Power On/Off

Slide the ON/OFF/Lamp-On switch to the 'ON' position to power on the camera. To power off, slide the switch to 'OFF'.

5.2. Video Recording

Once powered on, the camera typically defaults to video recording mode. Press the dedicated record button to start recording. Press it again to stop. The camera supports HD 1080P and 720P video resolutions. Loop recording is supported, where the newest video overwrites the oldest when the memory card is full. Ensure your desired resolution and loop recording settings are configured via the settings file on the SD card.

5.3. Photo Shooting

Press the Mode button to switch to photo shooting mode. Once in photo mode, press the record button to take a picture.

5.4. Night Vision
