3. Setup Guide
3.1 Connecting to Your TV
Use the included HDMI cable to connect the MAG555 to your television. For older televisions, an optional AV cable (not included) may be used. After connecting, plug in the power adapter. Select the corresponding HDMI or AV input on your TV. The initial setup wizard will then appear on your screen.

3.2 Pairing the Remote Control
The remote control functions via both IR and Bluetooth. For full functionality, including voice control, Bluetooth pairing is required. To pair, hold the Home button and the Back button on the remote simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds until the LED indicator on the remote begins to blink. This initiates the Bluetooth pairing process. Basic TV control keys will function via IR even before Bluetooth pairing is complete.

3.3 Connecting to the Internet
During the initial setup, the wizard will prompt you to select your internet connection method: Ethernet or Wi-Fi. If choosing Wi-Fi, select your network from the list, enter the password, and wait for confirmation. This setting can be changed at any time via Settings > Network & Internet.

4.1 Google Account Sign-In
To access Google TV features and applications, you will need to sign in with a Google Account. During the first launch, follow the on-screen prompts. 4.4 Google Home Integration
The MAG555 can be integrated with Google Home. To do this, open the Google Home app on your mobile device, tap the + icon, then select Set up device > New device. Choose your home, and the MAG555 will appear if it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network. After linking, you can cast media to the player and include it in voice routines.
5. Troubleshooting
- Cannot sign in with Google Account on first start: Ensure the device is online. Try selecting "Use your phone or computer" to sign in at g.co/androidtv. If the issue persists, reboot the player, verify the date and time settings, and attempt sign-in again using the on-screen keyboard. Most sign-in issues resolve after a second attempt on a stable network.
- Remote control not responding: Ensure the remote has fresh batteries. If using Bluetooth, try re-pairing by holding Home + Back for 10 seconds.
- No picture on TV: Check all HDMI/AV cable connections. Ensure the TV is set to the correct input source. Verify the MAG555 is powered on.
- No internet connection: Check your Wi-Fi password and network selection under Settings > Network & Internet. If using Ethernet, ensure the cable is securely connected to both the player and your router.
