  4. Leak Test: Before first use and after every gas cylinder change, perform a leak test. Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak is detected, turn off the gas supply immediately and tighten connections. If the leak persists, do not use the appliance and contact qualified personnel.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Ignition:
    • Ensure the gas supply is open.
    • Push and turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the 'MAX' position.
    • Simultaneously press the automatic piezo ignition button. You should hear a click and see the burner ignite.
    • If the burner does not ignite after a few attempts, turn off the gas, wait a minute, and try again.
  2. Adjusting Flame: Once ignited, you can adjust the flame intensity by rotating the control knob between 'MIN' and 'MAX' settings.
  3. Flame Failure Device (FFD): The FFD is a safety feature that automatically cuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out (e.g., due to wind or boil-over). If the flame extinguishes, the gas will stop flowing. To re-ignite, turn the control knob to 'OFF', wait a few seconds, and then follow the ignition steps again.
  4. Wind Protection: The integrated wind shields help maintain flame stability and cooking efficiency, even in breezy conditions. They also act as a splash guard.

  6. Shutting Down: When finished cooking, turn the control knob to the 'OFF' position and close the gas supply valve on the gas bottle. Allow the stove to cool completely before handling or storing.

6. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning:
    • Allow the stove to cool completely before cleaning.
    • Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
    • For the GreenGrill cooking surface, use a soft sponge or cloth with warm soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads to protect the non-stick coating.
    • Ensure all parts are dry before storing.
  • Storage: Store the stove in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect the gas bottle before storage.
  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check the gas hose and connections for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Replace any damaged components immediately with genuine CADAC parts.
