3.1 Unboxing

Upon opening the package, ensure the following items are present:

3.2 Initial Setup and Pairing with Google Find My Device

The JioTag Go pairs seamlessly with your Android phone using the Google Find My Device app. Follow these steps to pair your device:

  1. Install the Google Find My Device app on your Android phone.
  2. Turn on the JioTag Go by pressing and holding the button until you hear a beep or see an indicator light.
  3. Place the JioTag Go near your phone. A "JioTag Go Fast Pair" popup should appear on your phone screen.
  4. Tap on Connect.
  5. Tap on Agree and Continue.
  6. Tap on Done to complete the pairing process.

Manual Setup Option: If you miss the Fast Pair popup, you can manually pair the device:

  1. Go to your phone's Settings.
  2. Tap on Google.
  3. Tap on All Services.
  4. Select Devices and Sharing.
  5. Select Devices.
  6. Tap on JioTag Go to complete the pairing.

4. Operating Your JioTag Go

Once paired, your JioTag Go is ready to help you keep track of your belongings.

4.1 Locating Your Items

Use the Google Find My Device app to locate your JioTag Go:

4.2 Lost Mode

If your item is lost, you can enable Lost Mode in the Google Find My Device app. This feature will automatically notify you when your JioTag Go is detected by another device in the Google Find My Device network, providing its updated location.

4.3 Unknown Tracker Alerts

The JioTag Go is designed with privacy and security in mind. It supports Unknown Tracker Alerts, which notify you if an unknown JioTag Go is traveling with you, helping to prevent unwanted tracking. This feature works on both Android and iOS devices.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

The JioTag Go uses a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery, which typically lasts up to 1 year. An extra battery is included in the package. To replace the battery:

  1. Carefully open the JioTag Go casing. Refer to the device's physical instructions for specific opening method (e.g., twisting, prying a small notch).
  2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Close the casing securely.

Caution: Ensure the battery is inserted correctly. Improper insertion may damage the device. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.

5.2 Cleaning

Wipe the JioTag Go with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device's surface.

  4. Tap on Remove from Find My Device.
  5. Confirm by tapping Remove.
