• Multi-Function TFT Screen

• 75% Hot-Swap Gasket Keyboard

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C to USB-A cable. Connect the USB-C end to the keyboard and the USB-A end to a computer USB port or a compatible charger. The charging indicator light will flash quickly while charging and turn green when fully charged.

4.2 Connecting the Keyboard

The keyboard supports three connection modes: Wired, 2.4G Wireless, and Bluetooth. Use the toggle switch located on the back of the keyboard to select your desired mode.

• Wired Mode: Connect the USB-C to USB-A cable directly from the keyboard to your computer.
• 2.4G Wireless Mode: Remove the 2.4G USB receiver from the bottom of the keyboard and insert it into a USB port on your computer. Switch the toggle to 2.4G. The light on the Q key will flash slowly in white. Press FN+Q to enter pairing mode. The white light on the Q key will flash rapidly. After matching the receiver, the Q key light returns to backlight mode.
• Bluetooth Mode: Switch the toggle to BT. The light on the W key will flash slowly in white. Press FN+W to enter pairing mode. The white light on the W key will flash rapidly. Search for "KN820 BT-1" on your device's Bluetooth settings and connect.

4.3 System Mode Switching (Win/Mac)

The keyboard supports both Windows and Mac operating systems. Use the FN key combinations to switch between modes as needed. Refer to the Function Key Combinations table in Section 5.3 for specific commands.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 TFT Screen Functions

The 0.85-inch TFT color display screen provides real-time information and customization options. Rotate the volume knob to navigate through the menu, and press it to select options.

• Custom Image (via driver): Upload personalized GIF images.
• Date/Time (via driver): Display current date and time.
• Battery Level: Shows remaining battery charge.
• Connection Method: Indicates current connection mode (Bluetooth, 2.4G, Wired).

6.1 Hot-Swap Switches

The AK820 Pro is hot-swappable, allowing you to easily replace mechanical switches (3-pin or 5-pin) without soldering. Use the included keycap/switch puller to remove and install switches.

• Pull out the keycap with a key puller.
• Use a shaft puller to clamp the buckles on the upper and lower sides of the bottom of the shaft body, and then pull the shaft up and out.
• Calibrate the pins and holes of the new shaft.
• Tap the shaft vertically to install.

6.2 Driver Software

For advanced customization, including GIF image uploads to the TFT screen, detailed RGB lighting effects, and macro programming, download the official driver software from the AJAZZ website. The software provides extensive control over keyboard functions and aesthetics.

7. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your keyboard, regular maintenance is recommended:

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keyboard surface. For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps and use compressed air to clear debris from between the switches.
• Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the keyboard when the battery level is low.

8. Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged and the correct connection mode (Wired, 2.4G, or Bluetooth) is selected. For wireless modes, ensure the receiver is properly inserted or Bluetooth is paired.
• Backlight not working: Check FN key combinations for turning the backlight on/off or adjusting brightness. Ensure the keyboard is not in sleep mode.
