Follow the on-screen instructions during installation. Ensure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the software.

Language Settings:

The device supports both Chinese and English languages. To change the language, navigate to the settings menu on the touch screen and select your preferred language option.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or front panel) to turn the device on or off.

Using the Touch Screen:

The ET11S features a resistive touch screen. For optimal responsiveness, it is recommended to use your fingernail or a stylus for interactions rather than the skin of your fingertips.

Switching Functions (Thermal Imager / Multimeter):

The device allows for one-click switching between the thermal imaging mode and the multimeter mode. Locate the dedicated switch button or on-screen icon for this function.

Thermal Imaging Mode:

In thermal imaging mode, the screen displays a thermal map of the environment. The ET11S has a 32x24 IR resolution, providing a basic thermal overview. Hotter areas typically appear brighter or in warmer colors, while cooler areas appear darker or in cooler colors.

Note on Calibration: The thermal imaging detector includes a mechanical control calibration plate. This plate calibrates approximately every 10 seconds to ensure measurement accuracy. During calibration, you may observe a brief pause of 1-3 seconds. This is a normal operational phenomenon and does not indicate a malfunction.

Multimeter Mode:

In multimeter mode, the device functions as a standard digital multimeter. It can measure:

  • DC Voltage
  • AC Voltage
  • Resistance
  • Diode Test
  • Continuity (On/Off)
  • Capacitance

Refer to the on-screen interface for selecting specific measurement functions and ranges. Always connect the test leads correctly for the desired measurement.

Data Transfer and Analysis:

Connect the device to your computer via USB. In USB mode, you can transfer saved thermal images and recorded multimeter measurement results. Use the installed PC software to view data charts and perform detailed analysis.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

Wipe the device exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For the screen, use a microfiber cloth specifically designed for electronics. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Battery Care:

The device has a built-in lithium battery. To prolong battery life:

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Store the device with a partial charge (around 50%) if not used for extended periods.
  • Utilize the automatic screen turn-off and automatic power-off features to conserve battery power.

Storage:

Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it in its original packaging or a protective case when not in use.
