4. Setup Guide

4.1 Inserting SIM/TF Card

1. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of your FOSSIBOT S2.
2. Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
3. Place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or TF card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure they are correctly oriented.
4. Carefully push the tray back into the phone until it is flush with the side.

4.2 Initial Power On & Setup

1. Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the FOSSIBOT logo appears.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and accept the terms and conditions.
3. Sign in with your Google account to access Google services, restore backups, and download apps.
4. Set up your preferred screen lock method: PIN, Pattern, Password, Fingerprint, or Face Unlock.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Navigation

• Home Screen: Swipe left or right to navigate between home screens.
• App Drawer: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access all installed applications.
• Notifications & Quick Settings: Swipe down from the top of the screen to view notifications and quick settings toggles.
• Recent Apps: Swipe up and hold from the bottom of the screen (or tap the square navigation button if enabled) to see recently used apps.

5.2 Making Calls & Sending Messages

• Calls: Open the Phone app, dial the number, and tap the call icon.
• Messages: Open the Messages app, tap 'Start chat', enter the recipient's number or select from contacts, type your message, and tap send.

5.3 Camera Usage

• Open the Camera app from your home screen or app drawer.
• Switch between front and rear cameras using the camera switch icon.
• Select different modes (Photo, Video, Portrait, Night, Pro, etc.) by swiping across the bottom of the viewfinder.
• Tap the shutter button to take a photo or start/stop video recording.

• Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi to connect to available networks.
