Introduction
Thank you for choosing the OutdoorMaster Ski Helmet Set with Goggles. This manual provides essential information for the proper use, care, and maintenance of your new helmet and goggles. Designed for adults and youth, this set offers durable protection with a PC shell, protective EPS foam, and 10 cooling vents, ensuring safety and comfort during skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating activities.
Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when engaging in winter sports. This helmet is designed to reduce the risk of head injury but cannot protect against all possible impacts. Always wear your helmet correctly fitted and secured. Replace your helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if visible damage is not apparent, as its protective capabilities may be compromised.
- Ensure the helmet fits snugly and does not move freely on your head.
- Always fasten the chin strap securely.
- Do not modify the helmet or use accessories not approved by OutdoorMaster.
- Avoid exposing the helmet to extreme heat, as this can damage the materials.
- The goggles provide UV400 protection and anti-fog features, but clear vision is paramount for safety. Ensure lenses are clean and free of obstructions.

Setup and Sizing
1. Sizing and Fit Adjustment
A proper fit is crucial for safety and comfort. Use the size guide below to determine your correct helmet size. The helmet should fit snugly around your head without being uncomfortably tight. It should not move freely when you shake your head.
| Brand Size | Head Circumference (in) |
|---|---|
| S | 20.9 - 21.7 |
| M | 22 - 22.8 |
| L | 22.8 - 24 |
To measure your head circumference, use a flexible tape measure. Wrap it around your head just above your eyebrows and ears, ensuring it is level from front to back. Compare this measurement to the chart to find your ideal size.

2. Goggle Attachment
The helmet features a goggle clip at the rear to secure your goggles in place. Position your goggles over your eyes, then stretch the goggle strap around the back of the helmet. Secure the strap under the goggle clip to prevent slippage during activity.
Operating Instructions
1. Ventilation Control
The helmet is equipped with 10 cooling vents to regulate temperature and airflow. These vents are designed to provide effective ventilation while shielding you from freezing winds. While the vents are fixed, the overall design promotes continuous air circulation to prevent overheating and maintain comfort.

2. Goggle Anti-Fog Features
The included goggles are crafted for optimal lens airflow to combat fogging. They feature an ultra anti-fog coating and 100% UV400 protection. To maintain anti-fog performance, avoid wiping the inner surface of the lens. If cleaning is necessary, gently dab with a soft cloth.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Helmet
- Outer Shell: Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry. Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
- Inner Lining and Ear Pads: The helmet features detachable lining and earmuffs for easy cleaning. Gently remove them and hand wash with mild soap and water. Allow them to air dry completely before reattaching.

2. Cleaning the Goggles
- Outer Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth or the goggle bag to gently wipe the outer lens. For stubborn dirt, use a specialized goggle cleaner or mild soap and water, then rinse and air dry.
- Inner Lens: Do NOT wipe the inner lens, as this can damage the anti-fog coating. If wet, gently dab with a soft, clean cloth.
3. Storage
Store your helmet and goggles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided bag or a soft cloth bag to protect them from scratches and dust when not in use.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Helmet feels loose or too tight. | Improper size adjustment. | Adjust the rear dial for a snug, comfortable fit. Refer to the Sizing and Fit section. |
| Goggles fogging up. | Lack of airflow, moisture buildup, damaged anti-fog coating. | Ensure proper ventilation. Avoid wiping the inner lens. If fogging persists, check for damage to the anti-fog coating. |
| Chin strap is uncomfortable. | Incorrect strap adjustment. | Adjust the chin strap to be snug but not constricting. Ensure the padding is correctly positioned. |
| Helmet feels too warm. | Insufficient airflow. | While vents are fixed, ensure no clothing or accessories are blocking the vent openings. Consider removing the inner lining or ear pads if conditions allow. |
