2. Safety Information
Operating a generator safely is crucial to prevent serious injury or death. Always follow these safety guidelines:
- Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Generators produce carbon monoxide (CO), an odorless, colorless, and poisonous gas. Operate the generator OUTDOORS ONLY and far away from windows, doors, and vents. Never operate it inside a home, garage, basement, crawlspace, shed, or other enclosed area.
- CO Shield® Technology: This generator is equipped with CO Shield® technology, which automatically shuts off the engine if unsafe elevated levels of carbon monoxide gas are detected. This feature is not a substitute for safe operation or an indoor carbon monoxide alarm.
- Electrical Shock Hazard: Never operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure all electrical connections are dry and secure. Do not touch the generator with wet hands.
- Fire Hazard: Gasoline is highly flammable. Store fuel in an approved container in a well-ventilated area away from ignition sources. Do not refuel the generator while it is running or hot.
- Hot Surfaces: The generator's engine and muffler become very hot during operation and remain hot for some time after shutdown. Avoid contact to prevent burns.
- Proper Grounding: Always ensure the generator is properly grounded before use to prevent electrical shock.

3. Components Overview
Familiarize yourself with the key components of your generator:
- Engine: 212cc Champion single-cylinder OHV engine.
- Fuel Tank: 4.7-gallon capacity for gasoline.
- Control Panel: Includes ignition switch, battery switch, Intelligauge display, circuit breakers, and various outlets.
- Intelligauge: Monitors voltage, frequency, and operating hours.
- Outlets: One 120V 30A locking outlet (L5-30R), one 120V 30A RV outlet (TT-30R), and one 120V 20A household duplex outlet (5-20R).
- Wheel Kit & Handle: For portability.

4. Setup
Before first use, perform the following setup steps:
4.1. Unpacking and Assembly
- Remove the generator and all accessories from the packaging.
- Attach the wheel kit and handle according to the assembly instructions provided in the box.

4.2. Add Engine Oil
The generator is shipped without engine oil. Always check the oil level before each use.
- Place the generator on a level surface.
- Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Using the included oil funnel, slowly add 0.5 quarts (10W-30 recommended) of engine oil until the oil level reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
- Securely replace the oil fill cap/dipstick.
4.3. Add Fuel
Use only fresh, unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 (R+M/2). Do not use E85 fuel.
- Ensure the generator is turned off and cool.
- Remove the fuel cap.
- Carefully pour gasoline into the fuel tank, filling it to approximately 1 inch below the top of the tank to allow for expansion. The tank capacity is 4.7 gallons.
- Securely replace the fuel cap. Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately.
4.4. Connect Battery
The battery for the electric start may be disconnected for shipping.
- Locate the battery.
- Connect the positive (+) battery cable (red) to the positive (+) terminal and the negative (-) battery cable (black) to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure connections are tight.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Pre-Start Checks
- Verify the generator is on a level, outdoor surface, far from any buildings or vents.
- Check engine oil level.
- Check fuel level.
- Ensure all circuit breakers are in the 'OFF' position.
- Confirm no electrical devices are plugged into the generator.
5.2. Starting the Generator
This generator offers both electric start and wireless remote start.
Electric Start:
- Turn the fuel valve to the 'ON' position.
- Turn the engine switch to the 'ON' position.
- If the engine is cold, move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position.
- Press and hold the electric start button until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, slowly move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.
Wireless Remote Start:
- Ensure the generator's main engine switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Press and hold the 'START' button on the remote key fob for approximately 1-2 seconds. The generator should start.
- The remote start has a range of up to 80 feet.
5.3. Connecting Electrical Loads
Once the generator is running and stable, you can connect your electrical devices.
- Plug in the desired electrical devices or extension cords into the appropriate outlets.
- Flip the circuit breakers to the 'ON' position.
- Do not overload the generator. The Intelligauge will display voltage and frequency. The Volt Guard™ built-in surge protector helps prevent overloads.

5.4. Stopping the Generator
Manual Stop:
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- Turn all circuit breakers to the 'OFF' position.
- Turn the engine switch to the 'OFF' position.
- Turn the fuel valve to the 'OFF' position.
Wireless Remote Stop:
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- Press and hold the 'STOP' button on the remote key fob for approximately 1-2 seconds.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your generator.
