Important Warnings

⚠️ NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON!

Read the ENTIRE operator's manual to become familiar with the features of the product before operating. Failure to operate the product correctly can result in damage to the product, personal property, and cause serious injury or even death.

Setup Instructions

  1. Open Shipping Carton

    Unpack the generator from its shipping carton.

  2. Remove Shipping Support Hardware

    Remove any shipping support hardware from the generator.

  3. Connect the Battery

    Push the two halves of the battery connector together tightly.

  4. Add Engine Oil

    Recommended: 10W-30, up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml). DO NOT overfill.

  5. Move Generator Outdoors

    Move the generator to an open, outdoor area. Point exhaust away. Never run the generator in enclosed areas (e.g., not in a house or garage).

    Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. Heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.

  6. Add Fuel

    DO NOT use E15 or E85 fuel.

Startup Procedures

General Precautions: DO NOT plug in any electrical devices while starting or stopping the generator.

  1. Wireless Start
    1. Push the battery switch to the "ON" position.
    2. Turn the EZ Start dial to the full "ON" position.
    3. Press and release the "START" button on the remote key fob.
    Sequence of diagrams: 1. Battery switch ON. 2. EZ Start dial ON. 3. Remote key fob START button pressed.
  2. Electric Start
    1. Push the battery switch to the "ON" position.
    2. Turn the EZ Start dial to the full "ON" position.
    3. Push the choke button.
    4. Press and hold ignition switch on EZ Start Dial.
    5. Push the choke button.
    Sequence of diagrams: 1. Battery switch ON. 2. EZ Start dial ON. 3. Choke button pressed. 4. Ignition switch pressed and held. 5. Choke button pressed again.
  3. Manual Start
    1. Push the battery switch to the "ON" position.
    2. Turn the EZ Start dial to the full "ON" position.
    3. Push the choke button.
    4. Pull the recoil to start the engine.
    5. Push the choke button.
