4. Maintenance
4.1. Cleaning
To clean the keyboard, power it off and disconnect any cables. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. For cleaning between keycaps, use compressed air or a small brush.
4.2. Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the keyboard frequently. Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods. Charge the battery regularly, even if not used daily.
5. Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged. Check the connection mode switch (2.4G, Bluetooth, or Wired) and ensure it matches your intended connection. For 2.4G, verify the receiver is properly inserted. For Bluetooth, ensure it's paired correctly and your device's Bluetooth is active. For wired, check the USB-C cable connection.
- Intermittent connection: Move the keyboard closer to the receiver/device for wireless connections. Avoid sources of interference (e.g., other wireless devices, large metal objects).
- Backlight not working: Ensure the backlight is enabled and brightness is adjusted using the Fn key combinations. Check battery level; low battery may disable backlighting.
- Keys not registering: If specific keys are not working, ensure they are properly seated. The keyboard features hot-swappable switches, allowing for easy replacement if a switch is faulty.
- Lofree Key Mapper not detecting keyboard: Ensure the keyboard is connected via USB-C and the software is up to date. Remember the software is Windows-only.
