1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your roborock S8 Max Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.

The roborock S8 Max Ultra is an advanced robotic cleaning device designed to provide comprehensive floor cleaning, combining powerful vacuuming with effective mopping capabilities. It features an Auto Mop Washing & Drying system and comes with an official floor cleaning solution for enhanced cleaning performance.

2. Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
• Use only as described in this manual.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• Ensure the voltage rating on the charger matches the local power supply.
• The cleaning solution is for floor cleaning only. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

4. Setup

1. Unpack the Device:

   Carefully remove the robot vacuum, RockDock Ultra, and all accessories from the packaging.

2. Position the RockDock Ultra:

   Place the RockDock Ultra on a hard, level surface against a wall, ensuring there is adequate space around it (at least 0.5m on both sides and 1.5m in front). Plug the power cable into the dock and then into a wall outlet.

3. Initial Charging:

   Place the robot vacuum onto the RockDock Ultra. Ensure the charging contacts align. The robot will automatically begin charging. For first-time use, fully charge the robot before operation.

4. Install the roborock App:

   Download the roborock app from your mobile device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot vacuum to your home Wi-Fi network and complete the initial setup.

5. Prepare the Cleaning Solution:

   The official roborock floor cleaning solution is designed for optimal performance. Refer to the dilution ratio for proper use.

   The cleaning solution is compatible with all Roborock robotic vacuums with mopping functions, including Q5, Q7, Q8, S7, S8, Qrevo series, and wet dry vacuum mops such as Dyad/Flexi series. It is effective on multiple surfaces including hardwood, vinyl, ceramic tile, laminate floors, wood, and marble.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting a Cleaning Cycle

Once the robot is fully charged and connected to the app, you can initiate a cleaning cycle:

• Press the Power button on the robot or use the roborock app to start cleaning.
• The robot will automatically map your home and plan an efficient cleaning path.
• For mopping, ensure the water tank is filled and the mop module is attached. The RockDock Ultra will automatically manage water and detergent dispensing.

5.2 Advanced Cleaning Features

• HyperForce Suction:

  The S8 Max Ultra boasts an unparalleled 8000Pa suction power, combined with DuoRoller Riser Brushes, to effectively pick up dust and debris from various floor types.

• VibraRise 3.0 Sonic Mopping System:

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your roborock S8 Max Ultra.

6.1 Dustbin and Filter

• The RockDock Ultra automatically empties the robot's dustbin.
• Periodically check and clean the filter (Type: Cloth) located in the robot's dustbin. Rinse with water if necessary and allow to air dry completely before reinstallation.

6.2 Mop Module and Brushes

• The mop is automatically washed and dried by the RockDock Ultra.
• Inspect the main brush and side brush regularly for tangled hair or debris. Use the cleaning tool provided to remove any obstructions.

6.3 Sensors and Charging Contacts

• Wipe the sensors and charging contacts on both the robot and the dock with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper function.

6.4 Water Tanks (RockDock Ultra)

• Periodically clean the clean water tank and dirty water tank in the RockDock Ultra to prevent mold or odor buildup.
