2. Important Safety Information
WARNING: TO AVOID ELECTRICAL SHOCK, MAKE SURE THE INSTALLATION IS COMPLETELY BEFORE CONNECTING TO THE POWER SOURCE.
- Read and follow all instructions carefully.
- If you are not familiar with electrical wiring, it is recommended that you consult a qualified electrician.
- Before installation, shut off power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box. Simply turning off the wall switch is not sufficient to prevent an electrical shock.
- Do not attempt to take the lantern apart; there are no serviceable parts inside.
- To avoid sensor damage by lightning or electrical surge, make sure the grounding wire is correctly connected.
- For general safety and to avoid any possible damage to the sensor, be sure the power is disconnected before inspecting the bulb.
- Only general ON/OFF wall switch applies for this fixture; the dimmable wall switch shouldn't be required.

5. Setup and Installation
The BesLowe 1030MR outdoor wall light is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps carefully:
- Prepare for Installation: Ensure the power to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker. Gather your tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape).
- Mount the Base Plate: Attach the provided mounting plate to your outdoor junction box. Ensure the plate is level and securely fastened. The side with the extended tabs should face outwards.
- Wire Connections: Connect the electrical wires from your junction box to the fixture's wires. Typically, white to white (neutral), black to black (live), and bare copper/green to green (ground). Use the provided wire nuts and secure connections with electrical tape.
- Attach the Fixture: Carefully align the fixture with the mounting plate and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure no wires are pinched.
- Install the Bulb: Screw an E26 base bulb (not included) into the socket.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions
Your BesLowe 1030MR light offers three lighting modes and adjustable sensor settings.
6.1. Lighting Modes
The light features a simple one-press mode switching mechanism. The three modes are:
- Dual-bright Mode: The light stays at a low brightness (adjustable from 15% to 50%) at night. When motion is detected, it increases to 100% brightness. After motion ceases, it returns to the low brightness setting.
- ON/OFF Mode: The light remains off until motion is detected. Upon detection, it illuminates to 100% brightness. It turns off after motion ceases.
- Manual Override Mode: To activate, quickly switch the wall switch 'on-off-on' within 2 seconds. The light will stay at 100% brightness for 6-8 hours, regardless of motion. It will automatically turn off at dawn and revert to the previously selected Dual-bright or ON/OFF mode.

Figure 6.2: Illustration of the 'Manual Override Mode' where the light stays at 100% brightness for 6-8 hours, ideal for outdoor gatherings, activated by a quick 'on-off-on' switch sequence.
6.2. Sensor Adjustments
The motion sensor has adjustable settings for sensitivity and brightness. These controls are typically located on the bottom of the fixture's base.
- Sensing Range: Adjust the detection distance to 10, 20, 30, or 40 feet to suit your needs and avoid false triggers.
- Brightness Adjustment: In Dual-bright mode, the low-level brightness can be adjusted between 15% and 50%.
7. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your BesLowe outdoor wall light, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or glass.
- Bulb Replacement: The open bottom design allows for quick and easy bulb replacement. Always ensure power is off before replacing the bulb.
- Weather Resistance: The fixture is designed to withstand various weather conditions (waterproof, heat-resistant, storm-resistant, snow-protected). However, regular inspection for any damage after extreme weather is recommended.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your BesLowe motion sensor outdoor wall light, try the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Light Not Turning On: Check the power supply at the circuit breaker. Ensure the bulb is correctly installed and not burnt out. Verify wiring connections.
- Motion Sensor Not Working: Ensure the sensor is clean and unobstructed. Adjust the sensor's sensitivity settings. Check if the light is in Manual Override mode.
- Light Stays On Constantly: Check the sensor settings; it might be set to a continuous ON mode or the sensitivity is too high, detecting constant movement.
- Light Flashes: This could indicate an unstable power supply or a faulty bulb. Try replacing the bulb.
If problems persist after attempting these steps, please contact customer support.
