Setup

1. Mounting the Headset

The Sena 60S is designed for easy installation on most motorcycle helmets. Use the provided Helmet Clamp and Mounting Plate to securely attach the main unit to the side of your helmet. Ensure the speakers are positioned correctly inside the helmet, aligned with your ears, for optimal audio performance. Choose between the wired boom microphone for open-face helmets or the wired microphone for full-face helmets.

2. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the Sena 60S battery. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the headset and a power source. The unit features super-fast charging and provides up to 24 hours of talk time on a full charge.

3. Initial Pairing and Connectivity

To begin using your Sena 60S, pair it with your smartphone via Bluetooth. This enables access to music, GPS navigation, and phone calls. The Wave Intercom feature allows for seamless communication with other riders, even across different brands of Bluetooth headsets, by leveraging cellular networks. Operating the Sena 60S

Intercom Modes

The Sena 60S supports multiple intercom technologies for versatile communication:

• WAVE Intercom: Utilizes cellular networks to connect riders over virtually unlimited distances, allowing communication with anyone, almost anywhere in the world. This mode is cross-brand compatible with any Bluetooth headset.
• Mesh Intercom 3.0: For group communication within a defined range, offering robust and stable connections. The system intelligently converts between Wave and Mesh modes to maintain communication when cellular signal is lost.
• Bluetooth Intercom: Standard Bluetooth pairing for direct communication with one or more nearby Sena devices.
