1. Introduction

The Pride Mobility Jazzy Ultra Light Power Wheelchair is designed to provide enhanced mobility and convenience. Featuring an all-carbon fiber frame and a lithium battery, this wheelchair is built for durability and portability. It weighs approximately 33 pounds without the battery, making it suitable for transport and storage. 2. Setup

2.1 Unfolding the Wheelchair

1. Ensure the wheelchair is on a flat, stable surface.
2. Grasp the backrest and gently pull upwards until the frame locks into its open position.
3. Lower the seat and ensure it is securely in place.
4. Adjust the footrest to the desired position. The footrest can be folded up or down for user comfort and transfer.

2.2 Battery Installation and Charging

The Jazzy Ultra Light is powered by a lithium-ion battery. The 10 AH battery provides an approximate range of 8 miles at 200 lbs. (A 20 AH battery option is available for up to 16.4 miles range).

1. Locate the battery compartment, typically beneath the seat.
2. Insert the battery pack firmly until it clicks into place.
3. To charge, connect the off-board charger to the battery pack and then to a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

2.3 Joystick Controller Attachment

The programmable joystick controller can be attached to either the left or right armrest, depending on user preference and mobility needs.

1. Slide the joystick mounting bracket onto the desired armrest.
2. Secure the bracket using the provided fasteners.
3. Connect the joystick cable to the corresponding port on the wheelchair.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button on the joystick controller to turn the wheelchair on or off. The battery indicator lights will illuminate upon powering on.

3.2 Driving the Wheelchair

Use the joystick to control the direction and speed of the wheelchair. Push the joystick forward to move forward, pull back to move backward, and push left or right to turn. The maximum speed is approximately 3.69 miles per hour.

3.3 Speed Adjustment

The joystick controller features buttons to adjust the speed settings. Use the '+' button to increase speed and the '-' button to decrease speed. Start at a low speed and gradually increase as you become comfortable with the controls.

3.4 Safety Features

• Rear Lights: The wheelchair is equipped with rear lights that illuminate when the unit is in motion, enhancing visibility.
• Braking System: Features an intelligent braking electronic regenerative system and a disc park brake for reliable stopping.
• Cup Holder: A mesh cup holder is standard and can be attached to either armrest.

4.1 Battery Care
