Setup and Initial Adjustment
1. Setting the Time and Date
- Unscrew the Crown: The crown is located on the right side of the watch case. Gently unscrew it counter-clockwise until it pops out to position 1.
- Set the Date (Position 2): Pull the crown out one more click to position 2. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM to prevent damage to the movement.
- Set the Time (Position 3): Pull the crown out to the outermost position (position 3). Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands. Advance the hands past 12 o'clock to determine if it's AM or PM when setting the date.
- Secure the Crown: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back in and screw it down clockwise firmly against the case. This ensures the watch's water resistance.

2. Adjusting the Bracelet
The stainless steel bracelet can be adjusted by removing or adding links. This process typically requires specialized tools and is best performed by a qualified watch technician to avoid scratching the watch or damaging the pins. The fold-over clasp with safety provides a secure fit.

Operating Your Watch
1. Quartz Movement
Your ADDIESDIVE AD2072 watch is powered by a reliable Japanese 2115 quartz movement. This movement ensures accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance. The watch operates on a battery, which will need replacement periodically.
2. Bidirectional Rotating Bezel
The watch features a 96-click bidirectional ceramic bezel. This bezel can be rotated in either direction and is designed for tracking elapsed time, particularly useful for dive timing or other timed activities. Align the bezel's zero marker with the minute hand at the start of an activity, then read the elapsed time against the minute hand.

3. Luminous Display (Superluminova)
The hands and markers are coated with C3 Vintage Superluminova, which absorbs light and emits a yellow-green glow in low-light conditions. Exposure to light will charge the luminescence, allowing for visibility in the dark.

Care and Maintenance
1. Water Resistance (200M)
Your watch is rated for 200 meters (660 feet) of water resistance, making it suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not for saturation diving. Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down before exposing the watch to water. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
2. Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. For the stainless steel bracelet, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with fresh water and thorough drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
3. Battery Replacement
The quartz movement requires a battery. When the battery is low, the second hand may jump in two-second intervals as an End-of-Life (EOL) indicator. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
4. Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields. The original packaging or a watch box is ideal for protection.
Troubleshooting
- Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch is quartz, the battery may need replacement.
- Date not changing correctly: Ensure the time is set correctly for AM/PM. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM.
- Water ingress: If moisture appears inside the watch, immediately take it to a professional watchmaker for inspection and repair to prevent further damage. Ensure the crown was fully screwed down before water exposure.
- Luminescence fading quickly: Ensure the watch has been exposed to sufficient light to charge the Superluminova.
